Cambridge finally has a gem, hidden but a gem nonetheless. I was worried initially that this gem wouldn't receive the attention the support it deserves due to its location but I was pleasantly surprised by the number of calls they were receiving g for take out orders while I was there. This made me happy and I already know this will be my go to every other week when I am traveling 50 West.
I ordered a lamb dish that was full of flavor and the tender pieces of meat melted in your mouth no knife needed. The ambiance is so cute and I love how the kitchen is exposed so you can see the chefs

An unexpectedly cosmopolitan gem in old town Cambridge. The cocktail menu piqued our interest with its Indian-inspired flavors and unique variations on traditional cocktails, and it was so difficult to narrow down our choices. We ended up loving the Bollywood Smash and tiki-inspired Rum Rangoon. We also decided to be adventurous and order different dishes than our usual fallbacks. They were delicious, but we should have stuck with our favorites - it's just a matter of personal taste.

The quality and taste of the food here is worth way more that the effort of your getting there. The variety of Indian/South Asian in the menu is broad, with notation as to spice. So far, all our choices have been super. Don't forget the bar choices, with an Indian slant. Follow that with the turn of the century architecture and ambiance. Just suggest you give it a try. And I try not to be hyperbolic....

Date night outing while attending conference. My wife is somewhat of an Indian food snob, having lived in an area with a large Indian community for much of her life. She was impressed as soon as we walked in and the delicious aromas wafted her way. Service was good, bartender created a delicious lychee martini, and the food was outstanding and good value. Kadai masala chicken and Kerala Pepper Shrimp really hit the spot.
Not much on Indian decor, more of a sports bar atmosphere, but not too loud to have conversation across a table.
Will certainly eat there again if we pass through.

Despite the (close to) 2 hour wait for the take out order for obvious reasons (short staffed and high stressed kitchen environment), the food was just incredible. The distinct flavors and the creaminess of the sauces was like a celebration in the palate. Every bite was worth the long wait... Customer service needs improvement though. Everyone understands these challenging times, especially in the food business. It's always better to give a true picture of the wait times, especially when short staffed. Customers appreciate honesty than a "30 minutes waiting time estimate for phone orders, when really

Took my family here for lunch and dinner. We ordered some classic dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly. I'm impressed there was an Indian cuisine establishment in Cambridge MD. Love having diverse restaurants in the area to choose from. This restaurant was top notch. We can't wait to go again!

I ordered lamb curry and 4 other dishes. I drove across town to pick it up and got home and they gave me chicken curry. I called to let them know their mistake and the lady said I ordered chicken not lamb. First of all I order the same dish everytime I order so I am 100% sure what I ordered. When I got there she said I needed to pay $4.24 more because the lamb cost more. That's cool with me but she didn't accommodate me for my gas that I had to use to come and pick it up and go back home. If they had gotten the order correct I would not have had to come back to pick up anything. I order on a regular

Wonderful Indian food! Friendly, efficient service, reasonable prices and fresh, flavorful dishes. Tandoori chicken, garlic Naan, chutney...all fantastic. Not a fancy place but warm and welcoming and when you taste the food you won't care. Bar with good gin and tonics as well. Ask "Uncle" about his time working at the Plaza Hotel in New York.

I was in town to work at IRONMAN Maryland. There are not many places that offer labeled vegan options right in Cambridge; this was the only option that was showing in the Happy Cow app.
I stopped by for lunch during the race. I was greeted by a friendly woman and welcomed into their lovely space. It has very tall ceilings and lots of light from big windows that look out on the street. It's also painted a lovely, happy yellow color. I loved the space the minute I stepped in.

Best food in Cambridge! My fiancé and I have gotten takeout many times since moving here less than a year ago but actually sat down to eat in the restaurant for the first time last week with some friends. The staff was so friendly and the drinks were beautiful and delicious. You can’t go wrong getting anything on the menu, it’s all amazing! My personal favorite is the lamb korma, it’s one of the absolute best dishes I’ve ever had, I could eat it everyday.

If you're looking for change-of-pace dining, you MUST try Bombay Social. This is authentic Indian dining at its best. The Naan, fresh out of the oven, is soft and buttery, the Madagascar Chicken as well as the Cilantro Chicken were fragrant, spicy (but not TOO spicy) and delicious. Tomato soup was the best I've ever tasted, creamy and velvety. My… spouse and I arrived in Cambridge for a late lunch so it wasn't too busy. The owner took the time to chat with us and tell us a little about her culture - so gracious. Bombay Social quickly became our new favorite place for dining out. Take a drive

My family had a weekend vacation at the Hyatt Regency resort and stopped here for dinner on our way to the resort. The restaurant is less than 10 min away from the resort. The food was delicious and much better quality than Indian restaurants in the DC area. It was also priced well.
I highly recommend the paneer tikka kebobs. I asked for them to be spicy and instead of adding red chili powder which I feel most Indian restaurants do, the chef adding thinly sliced fresh chilies which were spicy but also delicious.
The service was excellent also. This is a family run business and they really

Welcoming and friendly establishment with bomb Indian food! The general manager was originally from my hometown in NY so we knew the food had to be good. Definitely was surprising to find considering when you think of MD, you always associate it with crabs/seafood. From drinks to apps to entrees , everything we had was perfect.
For drinks, we had The Penicillin and an Indian mule and both were yummy cocktails with just enough alcohol that it wasnt overpowering. By the end of our drinks, we def could feel a very light, warm buzz. We were also offered 2 shots they made for a birthday party next

So, I guess this Indian restaurant which was once in a little strip mall outside of the settled area moved to the edge of downtown in a snazzier (and clearly repurposed) building. From my pandemic takeout experience I thought it well worth a try in person. It wasn't the fastest experience (and indeed, I didn't catch as much sunset as I wanted to, which I'm not thrilled about), but this was because business was good and things were being made fresh, including my spicy yet nuanced chana masala, which came with a ton of rice. Nonetheless, I added a fried bread. The lentil soup was fairly

What a GREAT little hidden gem! My husband and I were a little apprehensive when we first walked in - it's not the prettiest restaurant we have ever been to - but wow, were we surprised at the delicious food we got! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came out fast and hot.
The fried cauliflower (Gobi Manchurian) was probably the best cauliflower I have ever had. It was perfectly fried, and tossed in an addictive sweet/spicy sauce that reminded us of a good General Tso.
The Samosa Chaat was also amazing, the spice level was perfect. We almost had to fight over who got to lick the
