Tim Swiontkowski is the owner and founder of Stellar Autoworks here in Plymouth, MN, established in 2010. Tim has always had a passion for mechanical things and growing up would regularly take things apart and put them back together. While his siblings were playing sports, Tim would be working on things in the garage.

A bulb was burnt out; I didn't know but my turn signal indicator was in a super fast mode. I called and Stellar gave me time within a couple days, they diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than a half hour. Thank you!

The guys here do a fantastic job with anything you bring to them. Very professional and always a pleasure to do business with. They literally send you images of everything that needs to be done so you KNOW they aren't out to just get money. They know what they're doing and always go above and beyond. Gotta get that VIP experience. Lol This place will always have my business.

I had a troubling noise rather suddenly so called Stellar because of location and a coworker had used them. They were great! They even gave me a loaner car for the night. Noise could have been serious but fortunately, after some thorough investigation, they found a minor problem. They quoted me some maintenance items due since car was there. I researched to compare pricing and was pleased Stellar was quite reasonable. The maintenance was done and car has been perfect ever since. Visit was 4 weeks ago. Very personable, knowledgeable, & customer focused! I will use them again.

The Stellar Autoworks team are professional is every way. Great from setting your appointment, receiving an appointment confirmation, and a text reminder the day before your appointment.
Service is comprehensive even for an oil change, with checking all fluid levels. Even took a picture of my brake fluid noting its color and the need to change it the next oil change.
A quick review of services rendered, and tap my credit card and I’m gone. Oh, did I forget to mention the detailed receipt email!

Always have great experiences in each visit . Bring to them several family vehicles for regular maintenance. I believe it is a honest business with an excellent customer service. Prices are in line with the quality of the service they provide. They have a very friendly staff, very easy working with Jason and Cana. I highly recommend this auto repair facility.

We had a terrible oil leak. For one year, we had been taking our car to mechanics and they didn't care about our car--just taking money for nothing. This shop correctly diagnosed and fix our multiple oil leaks, and they also put new left and right control arms on and aligned our wheels. Our car literally drives so much better. We will definitely be coming back here for any future repairs or maintenance!

Had a great visit at Stellar Autoworks. Was driving last week when a dash light came on, warning of low oil. I swung into Stellar and they immediately added an additional quart of oil. Was due for a change, so I scheduled an appointment with Jason. They got me in the next day and completed the oil change and completed their safety inspection. Needed a couple of filters. Jason ordered the parts and I stopped by and they popped them in. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and for the price I was orginally quoted. Second visit to Stellar, very pleasurable experience.

Over two weeks ahead of time, I set up an eight o'clock appointment to have my MB Sprinter codes scanned for ABS and Traction lights on.
I was at there shop at 8 on the scheduled day. Was told I had to leave the vehicle as it would take 3 to 5 hours to run the codes. I told the desk person that this is a twenty minute job and I had made a schedule for 8am. No, she said it takes 3 to 5 hrs. I was traveling with my motorhome and didn't have that much time to sit and wait. That's why I made an 8am app. I saw one mechanic ?? come in wearing flip flops and another ?? one arrive at

After bringing our car in for brakes, we received a really detailed Sales pitch (inspection report) for additional work that we didn't want, or need. These guys said our oil needed to be changed (was last changed 2700 miles ago with mobile1 synthetic and filter) and that it was dirty, we needed new tires all around (high profit margins for them to reap). They said we needed rotors and pads all around. They said the rear brakes only had 1-2 weeks left on them, when there is about 0.375" of meat on the pads ( I did the rear myself), which is enough for about a year. The quote came back

After reading many positive reviews online I decided to give Stellar a try. Everybody was friendly in the office and the provided me a loaner while looking at my Mazda 3. I needed to have my o2 sensor and front speed sensor replaced. I had quotes from two different parts stores for 150 on the o2 sensor and 50 on the front speed sensor. Stellar wanted to charge me 355 and 100 for the two parts.

So thrilled I found a quality place nearby that I can trust to service my Porsche. They offer rides back to your home or office while you wait. They provide a thorough inspection report of your vehicle. And they provide quality service on luxury European autos at a reasonable price. What a great asset to have here tucked away in Plymouth.

Had to bring my Mercedes GL450 in for repairs in December. They were able to give me a loaner car that was very nice and I was able to keep it while parts were ordered for my car. Every time we called for an update, they were so nice and thoroughly explained every step they were taking. I HIGHLY recommend Stellar. Outstanding service!!

First time I went in they changed my bulb for free. Second time, my car was making a terrible racket and driving my wife bonkers. Estimated cost of repairs was $1000+ at the dealership. Stellar patched it up for $180 without replacing the part. They also did a thorough inspection and notified me of future maintenance that needed to be done. They have always exceeded my expectations by conducting repairs on short notice and having a loaner car available.
