One of the best ways to see Carmel is on foot. You will discover over 60 hidden courtyards where many specialty shops and cafes are found. You will also find the special charms of Carmel-by-the-Sea as you discover secret pathways, award-winning gardens, and enchanting fairy tale cottages. Within 15 minutes, visit Monterey with the famed Monterey Bay Aquarium, Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row as well as many other places of interest.
We have 30 guest rooms with a king, queen or two full-sized beds that sits in an alcove. Each room has a conversation area with a sofa, gas log fireplace, a separate dressing area and private bath with tub and overhead shower. Our room rates are based on double occupancy and we charge $20 for any additional person over 4 years of age.

We found out that the hotel has 1 free night with 2 nights paid. When we walked in yesterday and booked our 2 night stay, the front desk refrained from mentioning that we can stay another night fir free. Today, I contacted the front desk and stated that I would like to get my third night, but to my surprise I was told I should have requested it the day before. This did not make any sense and it felt like I was totally cheated. The person I talk to felt very uneasy and agreed with me that it seems as a cheat, but the supervisor didn’t relent. I’m sorry to state that this is totally dishonorably

Perfect place for our family of 4. The suite was the size of a large one bedroom apartment and was private/secluded from other guests. You cannot beat the location - we could walk off our patio right into downtown Carmel for restaurants and shopping and it's walking distance to Carmel Beach, one of the nicest beaches in the area. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast service which included pastries, juice, and yogurt. We'll definitely be back next year!

We love staying at Lobos Lodge. It is just a few blocks from the beach and right in the center of town. Rooms are clean, great service and a small breakfast with newspaper delivered each morning. Love the fireplace in the morning too. Most have a good sized patio or veranda. We visit Carmel every year and stayed at Lobos Lodge twice now. We recommend highly.
