Kelly's Ridge

I am a small town girl who just moved to the big city of Columbia. I was worried about the noise and privacy of Apartment Life. However, I must say that my experience so far has been great. My apartment is very quiet. The neighborhood seems very safe and friendly. Everything is well lit, and there is plenty of parking. My little dog loves the abundance of grassy areas to roam. The staff were very helpful in answering all my questions before my move as well as during my move.

I lived there for 3 years. It was great while I lived there, however once I needed to move there became problems. They do not allow you to sublease your apartment, they will mention that it is written in the lease, however the lease does not say you can not sublease. It says you can sublease if they permit it (they just refuse to). They required me to keep my utilities on since I could not break my lease. Once I moved, my electricity skyrocketed due to the maintenance workers turning my air to the 60s. This increased my bill for two months. I filed a complaint and was told they would only give

This is the most comfortable place to be. All of the staff are professional, courteous, caring, and efficient. The grounds are beautiful. Kelly's Ridge is very accessible to all shopping venues and convenient to doctors, hospitals and schools. Love living here.

I've had the opportunity to live in multiple different apartment complexes throughout the Columbia area and my 9 months at Kelly's Ridge has been the best experience by far! They are always responsive and efficient with any emails/questions/maintenance requests, they are constantly accommodating and updating (we started off with brand new carpet, had luxury vinyl tile put in and the stairs are being redone all in the time frame of under a year), and they are very welcoming and friendly. Plus, you can't beat the utilities they offer - the pool and gym are great! :)

I've greatly enjoyed living at Kelly's Ridge. The property is conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants on the West side of Columbia and getting to campus is quick and easy.
The whole place is also well-maintained, nice and quiet, and the units are spacious. The property is pet-friendly too, which is why we signed with them in the first place. Maintenance staff are excellent, as well, with super quick responses to any requests we make.

I have lived at Kelly's Ridge for just over a year now, overall the units are in good condition, the appliances are a little dated, but work just fine. The only real issues I have with the complex is the upkeep of their landscape and construction near buildings 20-26. I live in one of these buildings and there is always construction going on and they take your parking away without notice, and will even tow your car without notice and without the location of where they towed to. I lived at the property for two years and never had one bad experience. Management and the leasing team was always available when needed and helped me out on multiple occasions with anything such as packages, maintenance requests, or general questions. If ever I had an issue or needed a repair (which was not often) maintenance would come usually within 24 hours of the request. I had a great living experience here and would highly recommend staying here! Additionally the amenities, plus spacious apartments, and good area make for a quality living situation especially for young adults like myself

The team at Kelly's Ridge is amazing! When there is an issue, maintenance comes by super fast and are always nice and professional. When the staff sees me walking around outside with my dog they all know me by name and stop to say hello. I just renewed my lease for another year!

Being new to Columbia this was a perfect place to live.
10-15 minutes from basically everything from restaurants, bars, grocery stores, mall and the University.
Maintenance is great, they respond right away when its something like when the freezer quits. When its something else they respond and repair in a very timely manner.
I also feel safe here. People are friendly and management is easy to work with and willing to work with you.
You still get the typical apartment sounds from the apartments around you but nothing more than one would expect.
It is a great place.

I have lived at kelly's Ridge for four years. The apartments are well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful and maintenance staff is very responsive to requests. I have switched apartments and did not have any issues getting my deposit back by using the list they give at check out.

I have lived at Kelly's Ridge since Spring 2017 and I have been very happy with my apartment, the amenities and the staff at Kelly's Ridge. The apartments are spacious, clean, and have really great features. Some of the features are huge walk in closets, outdoor patio storage, and oversized bath tubs (my personal favorite).

Maintenance is wonderful. There is a great app where you can submit your issues and someone has always fixed it same or next day. The maintenance staff is also super helpful and they love animals! They keep the pool in tip top shape as well.

Cozy apartments and spacious rooms and bathroom, location is fantastic, very helpful staff. Maintenance is better than other fancy building I have lived in big cities. They fix the maintenance request the very same day!
Next to Walmart and Hyvee, what could be better! It's on broadway so even if it snows in, boradway is a major road and gets cleaned right away. I have enjoyed my time here.

Moving to Kelly ridge was my 1st experience in apartment renting. I chose the place by a friend recommendation. And I moved in without even checking the place online or by myself.
I was expecting nothing when I moved in. But it turns out that Kelly ridge is one of the best apartment complex in columbia. It's clean, quite, everyone is friendly as residents or managements. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good place to move in.

I am not a resident of these apartments; however, I have a good friend who lives here and I visit often for mini-vacations.

At first glance the buildings look nice and I think they are pretty updated. My friend lives on the 2nd floor of her building and so her apartment is pretty well insulated in the winter (thankfully). I haven't ever noticed any loud noises or anything out of the ordinary for apartment living. They are located pretty close to the mall and other shopping areas. Mizzou isn't that far either. I think this location is pretty great!

When I first moved in, I was very excited to live at Kelly's Ridge. It was quiet, the people were nice, it seemed like it would work out well. I lived there for 2 years, while I was in grad school, moved out in 2009. First off, I had bugs like you wouldn't believe. The first night I was there, I woke up with a roach on my arm. I had spiders all over the place. One night, I went into the bedroom and there were flying ants around my ceiling fan. I called the next day about it, and it took them a week to come look at it. I somehow had crickets in my closet which was not even close to any

Upside: Very quiet. Grass is kept green and mowed. Pool is a nice place to meet other tenants.
Downside: I also didn't realize that I would be docked $200 for carpet cleaning. This violates Missouri law which protects tenants who show normal and regular use. They get around this by saying you must give them two months notice to vacate. Then, and only then, are you entitled to a "free" carpet cleaning. Also, the lease states that if you decide to move--even after you've already lived there for one year--you will lose your deposit (because you didn't fulfill the contract

The Upside:
Very clean and quiet, Kelly's Ridge caters to professionals and graduate students. The whole complex was built within the last few years so nothing is run down. There's a nicely kept pool, a 'clubhouse' with a workout room and laundry facility, and they also allow cats. There's also some families with small children, and I've noticed the complex seems a bit more diverse than Columbia as a whole. There seem to be quite a few Asian/Indian families, which is cool since I'm not too keen on living in an Aryan ghetto.
