For dermatologists with a special interest in caring for patients with skin cancer, specialized fellowships in Mohs surgery are available. Qualified applicants must undergo a highly competitive application and interview process.
ACGME- (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) accredited and recognized Mohs fellowships require that a fellow log over 500 Mohs surgery cases and meet rigorous educational standards in pathology, surgery, and reconstruction.After completing a recognized fellowship, a Mohs surgeon is then eligible to apply for membership in the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).

Kathryn Filipek has been a Physician Assistant in Dermatology since 2001. For several years after graduation, Kathryn worked in cardiovascular surgery and then cardiology before taking a job with a busy South Florida dermatology office. After working there for seven years, she and her family relocated to Milton, Georgia in 2007.

I've gone to Dr. Taylor's office annually, for several years now, all for treating skin damage from sun exposure. I've always experienced consideration and professionalism from the entire staff and Dr. Taylor, himself, is outstanding - very thorough, with excellent "bedside manners." I'd highly recommend Dr. Taylor's practice to anyone!

One of those rare occasions when front and back office match in quality! Dr. Taylor's front office is great. I hadn't been in the office in a while and the receptionist remembered me. His medical assistant was kind and returned my call promptly. Dr. Taylor is outstanding. Kind, funny, knowledgeable considerate to cost and your time. I highly recommend this practice as a whole. You won't find a lot of practices that have equal staff front and back with an expert physician.

Great experience from the beginning to the end. Julie at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. More doctor's offices should have someone with a personality like hers.

I was a patient of Dr. Taylor's a few years ago when he removed a mole from my neck. It was a good experience. Monday, 7/26 I went in to see his PA, Catherine. I have a very bad rash on my face that has lasted for about 5 weeks. Catherine said it was an allergy and told me to take Claritin in the morning, and Zyrtec at night. I did this routine for 2 days and the rash was worse than ever. I called the office on Wednesday, 7/28 at 7:00 AM and told Morgan what was going on with me, and that my rash was worse. I asked if she could get Catherine's nurse to call me. She said she would. By 10:00 no one

Great dermatologist! Happy and wonderful staff. They seem to really like their job. Always joking with patients. I appreciate that they gave me a years worth of prescription and that they went over pricing and directed me to go through GoodRx and to Kroger for this one because it was substantially cheaper there. I’ve never had an office actually care about my cost. Also thank you to Ashley who helped to entertain my son while I was seen. She was very patient and very kind.
