Would not recommend! Went to them for a check engine light. Was told I needed a new air intake hose and the price on the part was 70.00. Got a call the next day being told the price on the part was now 245.00. When they called to tell me my car was ready they tried to sell me everything in the book, when I told them I don't want it they stated well your car will still be leaving with a check engine light!

I've been to Honest-1 for major repairs for more than one occasion. Every time they have under promised and over delivered just as every business should. The first time they were completely honest about the fact that I didn't need to get a new alternator yet. The technician literally took his time and traced every wire to the alternator to see what the malfunction was. The second time I went for a oil leak and because my car is older there were some unexpected problems that they were very thorough in explaining to me and showed me. I love the fact they are proactive with communication

As a Mercedes owner, I naturally brought it to the local dealer when it needed service. The dealership disappointed me, primarily in the area of customer service. i took a chance on Honest-1 Auto Care and have never been disappointed. My car problems are always addressed successfully and the customer service is beyond satisfactory. It is like bringing my car to family. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience I had with with Honest-1 Auto Care. It's places like this that make me glad to live in the south. I went in for a pre-purchase inspection. They were running late so they put two mechanics on the car to get me out in a reasonable amount of time. They walked me through every issue with the car, what it would cost to fix, and in what time frame it would need to be done. The mechanic who did most of the work even recommended a good mechanic closer to my home (I'm not living in the area). They basically walked me through how a car works and

Like many of you, I picked this location based on the name. But that clearly was a mistake I won't make again. Lesson learned.
I brought a used car in for an inspection at this location. The main goal was to see what needed attention right away. They did their inspection and brought back a list of items wrong (okay fine). Oh, they also claimed to have replaced the battery the same day. The battery was smaller than what was originally in the car. But about 2 weeks later their battery was dead.
The part that I'm frustrated about and why I don't think the name "honest-1"

We thought we found a great auto repair outside the dealership, but were so wrong. My a/c was running warm so took it in May. They said dirty cabin filter, worked for about a month then back in running warm again. This time was the expansion valves, another few weeks goes by and running warm again. Now up to about $500. Third time it's the evaporator core which we learned was probably the problem from the beginning. This is a $1600 repair due to the labor involved as the dashboard comes off to get to the core.

In July 2019, I brought my 2011 Kia Forte in to have the steering column looked at. Everytime I turned, a clicking noise came from the front drivers side. After hours long wait, I was told the problem was the strut assembly and stabilizer link. $722 later, the car was still making the noise when turning. I brought the car back in for them to look at again. Daniel called and explained to me they found play in the power steering rack and pinion assembly. I gave them the go ahead to fix this problem. I had high hopes for Honest -1 auto care after reading their positive reviews. However I'm disappointed in how I was treated after having my service.
I had the front brakes done and they inspected the rear brakes. My wife noticed a strange noise right away which we thought was the rear wear indicator. The noise got worse every day so I checked the wheel and was shocked to see that 3 of the 5 nuts had fallen off. This only happens when the nuts aren't properly torqued.
I just spent 3 hours back in their shop while they "diagnosed" the situation (made me sit there.) Long story

Very basic. I asked to get an RV checked out, all fluids checked including oil change and see which repairs were needed as I had just bought the vehicle and needed to take it across country. They did the fluids, test drove it could not find anything wrong, even though the motor kind of clicked or rattled a bit and the steering wheel felt loose to me, and I had to remind them of the oil change after picking up the vehicle. They gave me an estimate of $1100 to change the fuel pump and said everything else was in working order. I left got an estimate elsewhere and got EVERYTHING fixed for the same

This shop is great! I've been here three times and
always get quick and professional service.
The first time I had a noise coming from my underbody. Within a half an hour they checked it out and it was an easy fix. They didn't charge me anything.
In 2017, I just took the car in for my state inspection. It was a Wednesday midday. Within a half an hour they were done. I highly recommend this place.
Just two issues:
In January of 2018, the man that answered phone told me that state inspection could only be done 30 days in advance. Though, the paperwork from the state said 90 days.
