I brought in a bridesmaid dress that another tailor completely botched in the hope that Joy, the seamstress, could fix. She gave me her honest feedback (which I greatly appreciated) and told me the dress was unsalvageable for the event. After scrambling to purchase another one, I brought the new dress to Joy for her to hem. She did a great job and worked with my very tight deadline to get it done in time. I took one star off because she quoted and charged me $165 for the hem. I thought maybe she included a rush fee but she said she didn't. Then I thought perhaps it was the difficulty of the hem

I love this place! They are highly organized and very pleasant. They pretty much worked a miracle to get a stain out that looked nearly impossible. And they are very honest when they may not be able to do so. Joy is an incredible tailor, and will be clear with you on options and pricing. I would trust her with any of my clothes including my future wedding dress. I've never received a bad item or had any issues with misplaced items. Highly recommend this place!!

Yates management, just letting you know about my experience. I had an important sewing job, important to me, checked many local reviews, and requested estimates from a few places including Yates. Your estimate was relatively expensive, but you replied quickly and gave me a complete answer also specifying that your seamstress would need to see it in… person. Despite being located further away than other shops I checked, and the higher estimate, I chose Yates because the reviews about your seamstress, Joy, were extremely complimentary. I dropped my job off with Joy and we discussed my intent

I’m fairly new to the area and this is my first time using this dry cleaner and it definitely won’t be my last! As soon as I came in the gentleman that helped me was so attentive and very professional. I brought in 3 coats which needed cleaning. There were some stains (paint? Coffee? Oil? I’m not even sure it’s been so long) which I didn’t expect to come out. I was so surprised when I received the items back that the stains were nearly gone and barely noticeable!
