We brought my wife's engagement ring in to be serviced just before our tenth anniversary. The owner was to restore the milgraining on the ring, and. the rhodium plating, tighten the diamonds in their settings, and replace one tiny diamond that had fallen out of the band. The owner promised the ring would look as good or better than new when he was finished with it.
When we returned to pick up the ring, we noticed that the milgraining had not been restored. We pointed this out and the owner agreed to do it on the spot. He took it away for a few minutes and returned with the ring and we paid and left. When we got home, we noticed that the milgraining was very roughly done - not at all delicate like the ring had been originally.

Mardik repaired a couple of diamond rings for me as well as replace enamel from a family cross. He did an excellent job in an efficient timeframe and was also able to have the pieces appraised for insurance purposes. Don't be afraid to wear your fine jewelry...take it to Mardik to make them good as new!

I dropped a watch off in August. The only thing that needed to be fixed was ability to move date. Asked that they let me know could they fix it and how much would it cost. Mardi sent it to a special watch repair without letting me know. When they finally gave me back the watch NOTHING worked. I could go on but they took watch back and said they replaced the complete inner works. When I finally got the watch back in late December the second hand didn’t move. Still unable to change date, which is the original problem. DONT use this store.

Mardik at Kensington Jeweler's exceeded my expectations beyond belief, fixing my ring in less than 24 hours and pulling out unexpected, gorgeous custom options for a right hand ring.
I'd previously had my ring resized (it took 2 weeks) elsewhere and the metal fell out. I took it to Mardik and he realized that the prongs needed reinforcement to secure my diamond. So he did that, repaired, and invisibly fused my rings together overnight! Very good communication to let me know next steps and when my pieces were ready for pick up.
