Nice person but is the most irresponsible absent minded doctor I've seen. Good with meds but will send them to the wrong pharmacy or not fill them at all for days. She gave up on me for being abusive, but I'm mentally ill and sometimes lose control. NEVER would I have thought a doctor would give up on a patient. By fumbling my meds she did more harm with me than good.

Hands Down the absolute best phyciatrist in town. She spends time with patients and does not push a bunch of medications at you and send you out the door. She listens and meticulously follows recovery step by step. She saved my life from PPD and continues to help me if needed. She does not put labels on people and works very hard to keep her practice independent from major health networks. She does this so she can continue to practice refined medicine as she was trained to do and not be mandated to practice according to major networks plans, and formularies. This allows her the freedom to individual

Saw her for 5+ years. Realized she was a pill-pusher (she seems to have a philosophy that if a medicine isn't working, just up the dosage - ended up on 2400 mg of a med that made me gain 90 pounds in the process). She's very manipulative and DOES NOT send records to other doctors!!!!! She also verbally attacked my parents in her office and followed them out to the parking lot, continuing to insult and yell at them. Unprofessional and would not recommend.

She has been my provider for over 5 years and she is very smart, not to mention that she has been nominated the Physician of the Year for 2016/2017. Dr. Chesen is very professional and also passionate about women’s studies and needs. I have been so fortunate to be able to call her my Psychiatrist (MD) and because she is so knowledgeable and highly recommended, she is extremely busy but will always take care of needs in a very timely manner. Her office manager Michael Hall is very educated in current medical administration policy and insurance practices, he knows what to do and is incredibly understanding
