We offer personalized instruction based on the individual needs and desires of the student. We pride ourselves on our passion to teach and our instructors are supportive and encouraging with the patience to guide a student at their own pace through their unique dance journey. We strive to offer quality dance lessons that are challenging but fun.
A Private Dance Lesson is for one person or a couple. It is one-on-one time with an instructor where you can learn the dances you choose at your own pace-slowly or quickly. This is the best place to ask specific questions about steps or technique so you can develop the look you want on the dance floor.
At our dance studio in Houston, our goal is to help you have the wedding dance of your dreams. We offer wedding dance lessons in the Bellaire/Galleria-area tailored to you and your song. Your first dance together as a married couple should be special. Whether you plan to keep it simple or spice it up a little, we can make it happen.
A. We usually advise couples to start scheduling their lessons 2-3 months before the wedding. Things get pretty hectic as the day approaches which can make it hard to concentrate on learning dance steps and relax and have fun if you wait until the last minute. Just call us to schedule your first lesson.

I cannot thank our instructor enough for helping us achieve our goal fo a choreographed dance at our wedding. My now hubby is not very confident about his dancing abilities but after the 3rd lesson he was already looking great! I was super impressed at how well she was able to teach him and how willing she was to tweak things around for us.
We had a total of 6 lessons and although pretty pricey it was absolutely worth it. Definitely would recommend to newly engaged couples who are contemplating doing a choreographed dance at their wedding. All of our guests were pleasantly surprised.

What a terrific studio and dance teacher! Susan was wonderful to take us in for our Dance Emergency! Yes it was our wedding day in a week and she took us in! We learned our dance in three sessions with some practice in between and in the process got inspired to continue with her and dancing beyond the wedding. Thank you Susan--awesome experience!

If you're thinking about doing some type of choreography for your wedding: do it! Before I get to that, let me first explain about our experience at Dance EZ. My now wife and I were referred to Dance EZ and Kay. We took about seven or eight lessons from Kay and were very very satisfied with our experience.
My wife and I kept our dance a secret leading up to the wedding: none of our guests knew we could dance, let alone were having our dance choreographed by Kay. On our wedding day, once we starting throwing down our moves, our friends and family starting cheering, smiling, and clapping

Highest possible recommendation for Dance EZ. My fiancé and I took dance lessons for our upcoming wedding. Kay was fantastic. I provided our wedding song and she designed custom choreography. After 6 lessons we were pros. Everybody at our wedding was blown away and said it was the best wedding dance they had ever seen. Thanks Kay for making our first dance unforgettable.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Susan and Kay at Dance EZ. My now husband and I wanted to take some lessons and have a dance choreographed for our First Dance. We were so impressed with how well they came up with a dance to go along with our chosen song. I appreciated how we were not expected to memorize the entire routine after the first lesson and how patient Kay was working with us as neither of us had any dance background. As we continued to learn our dance there were opportunities to increase the technical difficulty and Kay and Susan worked diligently to create a masterful dance

Susan designed the choreography of my wedding dance , which is a Viennese Waltz that is super difficult for amateurs to learn. However , Susan's teaching is very clear and understandable and she is attentive to details. So we nailed down the dance in 10 classes including review sessions to make it perfect. Before our first lesson, she already choreographed the entire dance - very well prepared. We really like how our dance turns out to be (elegant and beautiful) and we are extremely happy about this experience.

I contacted Susan about choreographing two dances for my son's wedding. Even before I booked an appointment, she was very helpful in giving advice on how to make it all work in 5 months with the bride and mom of groom in Houston and the groom in Waco. We scheduled lessons during spring break, Easter, and then the week before the wedding. The bride and groom videoed their dance in the studio to help them when practicing on their own. My husband and I had Kay as our instructor. She was beyond amazing. She choreographed our first dance together and was patient and loved to teach. Kay pays attention to the even minute details. She was very easy to work with and learn from. Everyone at the wedding loved the dance. Would definitely consider going back to take lessons for fun!

Hands down - we had the best time learning our first dance steps with Susan in only about 2.5 weeks! We had some unforeseen circumstances involving my (now) husband's herniated discs. We really want to do a traditional, choreographed first dance so we decided to go for it! Susan was amazing at accommodating our needs in such a short period of time. We even changed up the dance after the first session since we were a bit ambitious. My fiance and I had one lesson here for our first dance. We came in with a dance we already learned (a difficult dance and we're beginners...) and Susan really helped us touch it up and add some style to it. She was very patient, clear in her instructions and enjoyable to be around. I was actually sad to leave. I think I'll try to find a reason to come back!
