Our team of experts can test your home or prospective home for mold and determine what's causing that mold growth. Our inspectors are IAC2 certified and take the time to thoroughly evaluate your home. We start with a complete visual inspection of the home and locate moisture causing concerns. If we find visual mold we can sample it and send it to our lab partners to further analyze.
A Pre-Listing Home Inspection can save you thousands of dollars during the sale of your home. A Wood Destroying Insect Inspection searches for pests that could pose a threat to the integrity of a house. In particular, this threat takes the form of wood destruction. This inspection includes a termite inspection as well as carpenter ants, powder post beetles, and carpenter bees. Most mortgage companies require this inspection with the Federal HUD report, which we provide.

I've used Heartland Home Inspections twice now. The first time I used them I backed out of a house that would have costed over $200k in repairs that I would not have known about without their inspection. The second time I used them, I received the same quality inspection. Lee took the time to explain in detail every question I had and what he was examining. He also told gave me recommendations on what to fix and how to fix it. The written report after the inspection was quick and very detailed, outlining the entire inspection and had pictures of each part of the house. I highly recommend Heartland

Heartland Home inspections is in a word, spectacular. They were prompt in responding to my initial email and Lee was wonderful to work with! He arrived a little bit ahead of time for our inspection so he could complete the outside look around which was great! He was incredibly detailed and his report was like 80 pages long! It was very helpful in our home closing and got us the credit we needed on important issues that needed to be fixed. Thank you so much Lee and Heartland! Cannot recommend enough!!!

Heartland Home Inspections has done an outstanding job inspecting 2 properties I have looked at purchasing.
The first property we looked at our inspector Lee T. found some structural issues that unfortunately prevented us from purchasing the home.
The second property was inspected today and Lee did just as thorough of an inspection as he did at the previous property.

Can't say enough about our experience with Heartland Home Inspections. Lee was easy to work with, knowledgeable and personable. Ed and his team were very quick to respond to our request for an inspection. In advance of his visit, Ed gave us a step-by-step plan of action and ask if there were specific areas of concern or interest.
During the inspection, Ed had the relators present and asked if we would like to join virtually to watch him go through his process. We declined due to previous commitments, but within an hour of his conclusion, Ed gave us a call enumerating his findings and recommendations. We received his written report within 24 hours as he promised.
Ed wrote a comprehensive analysis with accompanying photographs

Our experience with Heartland Home Inspections was amazing! Lee was so professional, yet personable. He was so helpful and knowledgeable about every aspect of a home and took his time with the inspection. He even took time answer all of our questions and provided great support throughout the process. He made himself available after the inspection when my husband and I had questions about the report which was so helpful. Overall Lee was honest, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and overall just a great guy! Highly recommend and will definitely use them in the future!!!

I would rate Heartland Home Inspections 10 stars if I could. Ed could not have been more understanding with a unique situation getting an inspection scheduled promptly and then rescheduling as needed. When it finally came time for the inspection, Lee was nothing short of amazing. Lee’s attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to explain even the smallest details to a first time home buyer was greatly appreciated.
