I was the matron of honor in Alyssa Mergelkamp's and Jacob Krausz' wedding. I can tell you that this venue is absolutely beautiful and a great place to have a wedding. The house to get ready in had MANY bathrooms and bedrooms. We drove down on an awesome old style truck where we all got out for the wedding at the venue. The reception hall was huge and plentiful for what we needed. The bar was great! Even the staff was wonderful. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful farm style wedding.

One of the most beautiful wedding venues I have attended (and that’s an pretty high number). It was picturesque with ambient lighting from all the string lights and fire pits that added to a country elegant charm. The decor is uniquely set for classy country style weddings. The staff and owner were on par with great service and making sure we as guests were having a great time. Can not say enough good things about this place!!

We had our daughter's wedding this past Saturday.
The wedding, the reception the venue was just BEAUTIFUL!
Our guest did not stop commenting on how WONDERFUL the food, the decor and service was at this venue.
We were so worried about the weather , but once everything started it wasnt even a thought.
Suzy helped with every detail keeping our guest dry and warm.
Our
DJ was wonderful (Big Show Productions/Nick)
Photo booth (Redd Line Entertainment /Jay)
Bartenders (STL Bartenders to Go/Paul)
All recommended by the venue...which made life so easy. Knowing they would be good and honest.

My husband and I were just married at rocking J Ranch on May 4, 2018. We absolutely loved it. :) The venue was perfect for what we were looking for. We did a 1920s rustic themed wedding. The owners and staff were so helpful and helped to make our day perfect! They took care of mostly everything with the all-inclusive package. The food was so delicious, the decor was awesome, and the atmosphere was so perfect. I would highly recommend this wedding venue.

These guys were great. Called super last minute around noon, hoping to get a trail ride in with the girlfriend around 3 on the same day, Missie was super helpful, said she'd try and see if anyone was able to take a last minute shift. Lucky for us Jim was around and was willing to take us out. We ended up taking the 1 hour trail ride around the ranch which was really just two loops in the shape of an infinity sign, but who cares, you're there to ride a horse!
The horses were really well behaved, we rode Jack and Sarge and overall it was a great time. Jim was super friendly if not borderline

My daughter went to the 5 day summer camp at Rocking J and reported some very shocking things from the staff. The staff/unpaid counselors there are very rude, and leave the children unsupervised at lunch. They just leave to go get McDonalds, leaving 30 children around a dozen horses! If something happened while all of the counselors left, a lot of kids could be injured. The camp is very unorganized and rotate activities unevenly, and some kids ride a lot more than others. In the arena session, my daughter was riding and there were 2 "counselors" who were maybe 11 or 12 years old watching
