I recently had an excellent experience with this company. I chose them to give my 8-year old laptop a new lease on life. They recommended (and subsequently replaced) the original hard drive with a solid state drive, which made my laptop perform better than new. This simple upgrade improved the performance so much that I feel like I'm using a newer, more powerful machine. Their recommendation was spot-on, and the cost was a fraction of what I would have to spend to buy a new laptop. The staff were professional and helpful, and they listened to and responded to my concerns before any work was performed

What a great experience working with this team. I had a very old iPad I wasn't ready to let go of. Down The Street IT replaced the battery, fixed the screen, and made the system like brand new again. And it really didn't cost as much as I had expected! Kudos all around!

Good experience from start to finish - pleasant on the phone and willing to give me a ballpark estimate of the repair (needed to replace the keyboard on my laptop, and while it was a highly conditional ‘we need to see it to be sure’ estimate, which I understand, other places refused to even give me a ballpark, which is frustrating when you’re trying to decide if it’s worth the repair on a relatively cheap device....). Very accommodating and pleasant when I came in, and after part was ordered, willing to do the repair while I waited to save me making a third trip to pick it back up. Pleasant

I was very impressed with my overall experience using Down The Street IT. I called and left a message and my call was returned within 90 minutes. I was able to explain my problem (cracked Chromebook screen) and came into the store to have it inspected and left for repair. They worked hard to find the needed glass, the repair was completed promptly, and the final cost was under the original estimate. I had the chance to interact with 3 of their staff, all were very cordial and provided great customer service. Glad to support a local business and I will return when I need to!
