Services
Your pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness exams or checkups. No matter the age, wellness exams provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical exam and develop a health profile for your pet. This could help us identify problems early and any other issues that may affect your pet's health and quality of life.
What if I find a tick on my cat or dog? First, we will start with a very important Don't: Some sources may recommend burning or smothering or irritating the tick to get it to drop off of the animal. These bad suggestions include using a hot match, alcohol, vasoline, etc. It is important NOT to do this as it may cause the tick to dump the disease organisms into the pet.
While modern anesthetics are relatively safe, there is always a slight risk. Do not feed your pet for 12 hours prior to admission. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is offered and recommended before each procedure. The more information we have before surgery, the safer we can make the anesthetic. It takes about 15 minutes to provide the results and can therefore be done the same day just prior to the anesthetic.
Many pet owners opt to spay or neuter their pets, and spaying and neutering are important for reducing pet overpopulation. What are the options? If you decide to spay or neuter your pet, you have options. Discuss the options with your veterinarian so you can make a decision that's right for you, your family and your pet.
It is very helpful if you arrive on time or a few minutes early for your appointment. The nature of this business is that we see all kinds of unpredictable emergencies. We do make every effort to honor scheduled appointments the best we can. Arriving just a few minutes late will put any emergencies waiting into your appointment slot.

Very happy with my experience today at FV. This was my first time being here with my german shepherd and in general. I switched from a vet who didn’t seem to care about my dog or even look him over at all, to FV completely getting on the ground with him, looking him 100% over head to toe, mouth to ears, hips, elbows ect. The vet assistant I saw was awesome & has a shepherd herself so I felt even more better about switching to FV right from hearing that. The vet herself was as well awesome, and listened to my concerns and questions, & explained everything was going on with my dog. They both handled

They have friendly - knowledgeable staff. Whenever we have an unexpected issue with a pet, they are good about trying to get us in to help or offer advice over the phone if a visit is not needed. They work hard to make sure appointments run on schedule without rushing the visit in the office. We have been using them for 13 years without complaint.

My kitten needed to be neutered. They were excellent with him. His recovery has been perfect. I got emotional as they took him back and they were incredibly kind to me. Answered all of my questions! Highly recommend!

My dog Isaac had to have a surgery, that our regular vet doesn't do. Everyone at Fowlerville veterinary clinic was caring, knowledgeable and professional. I live an hour away and went there to have the surgery.... the facility is clean and cheery in an otherwise nerve wracking situation. I wish i lived closer to have them as my regular vet for all my pets needs. They are amazing!!!

Dean is awesome too. Have known him for several years. Down to earth, friendly and very kind. Both are five plus stars. Have not had the opportunity to work with the new Equine Vets but in the future I'm sure I will. Very happy client. Thank you.

I was so overly impressed w/ the clinic and all the staff. I recently moved back to MI. Fowlerville vet clinic was highly recommended to me. I was needing to get established w/ a new vet so I gave them a try. My Marley girl was very nervous and they made her feel very comfortable and put her at ease which also helped me to relax. They were very informative and extremely kind.
