We stayed here for four nights in November. Very small privately owned campground. Danny the owner was great! The creek was peaceful and shower facilities were cute and clean. It’s a little intimidating pulling into the campground off of the road but we managed.
Nearest restaurants and grocery stores are in Mountain City 15 minutes away. Would definitely like to go back when the temperatures are not as cold. However, the beautiful leaf colors were amazing this time of year.

Great campsite with full hookups next to a beautiful creek. Host was very nice. There are only about 10 sites that are very close together but since there was only one other motorhome there he let us park our car in the site next to us. We tied a rope around a few trees to use as a dog run for our pups.

We are here on night 2 of 3 in the Mountain View Cabin. It has been wonderful. The campground is quiet. The cabin is fantastic. We have a good sized table top oven, microwave and 2 burner stove. The fridge is large enough that it has a separate freezer compartment. We are 30 ish minutes from Damascus and the Creeper Trail. The shower has hot water with good pressure and all the linens are super clean and good quality. We brought a french press but the cabin has a coffee maker and a gas grill on the porch. Really, everything you need and more for a weekend getaway!! We love it! Such an amazing place

Wow! Small quiet campground, great helpful owners (Danny and Done), shade, beautiful river just 20 feet away from the back of my camper. All sites are on the water! Fishing with no licence required. Tubing kayaking. Cool nights , warm days even through July and August. Have been here 2 months, wish we could stay much longer. This campground is a gem.
