Moondance is an adventure travel company for teens going to some of the world's most awe-inspiring places. We believe that the most impactful adventures require getting outside of our comfort zones and away from our hometowns. In doing so, we put ourselves in new places and new situations that require us to fully engage in what's going on around us.

The last five months have been unlike anything we've ever experienced, as both individuals and a company. We have gone from prepping for Staff Training to suspending all summer operations within a matter of weeks.

Services
We believe that new experiences have the power to change the way we think about, interact with, and understand our place in the world. They wake us up. They tune us in. They get us out of our routines and open up the spaces and places around us. They tickle our brain, hug our hearts, and stoke the fire within us.

From the golden coast, to the purple mountains majesty, expand your homeland on one of our Classic Trips.
You submitted an enrollment request for one of your children for the 2018, 2019, 2020 or 2021 summers, but he or she did not attend. You did not enroll (or submit an application for) a child on a 2018, 2019, 2020 or 2021 Moondance program. Our enrollment begins in August each year for Alumni & Siblings and then open enrollment in September.
We're in the kid business and our goal is to create trips of a lifetime. Here at Moondance, we strive to bring you amazing adventures, the opportunity to travel the world, and the chance to deeper develop one's love for the outdoors. We hope that every student leaves the summer more confident in his or her self, has strengthened peer leadership skills and can apply the lessons taught at Moondance into the core values of their everyday life.
My grandparents founded Camp Deerhorn, a summer camp in northern Wisconsin in 1930. Not a great time to start a business, but they loved kids and had a dream. I spent every summer there until my early teens only to return later as a counselor. It changed my life. I had grand dreams to take over Deerhorn one day, but when my cousins followed their parents in running the camp, I had to find a new opportunity.
