Camp Timberlake For Boys
An outstanding summer camp can be one of the most important experiences in a boy's life. Located in the mountains of western North Carolina, Timberlake is a Christian summer camp for boys. We strive not only to provide a summer of fun and recreation but, in a larger sense, to develop a boy's character so that they will be stronger mentally, physically and spiritually.

These are the first words that every boy hears when he arrives at camp, and they mean a lot to us. We love welcoming boys to our camp family, to our mountains and to our long held traditions. We also love making new boys feel like camp insiders from the very beginning. Faced with two options most of us will make the best choice, faced with ten we may do nothing at all.
Services
What about one week? Most of our campers are ready for two, but we also understand that many parents are not! This is why we offer a Short Term session for boys rising 3rd grade and below. It allows families to give camp a try, building confidence to come longer the next summer. Another fantastic way to gain confidence for two weeks at camp is to come to our Father Son weekend in May!
Every boy is different. Some grow through achievement in their activities, progressing through skill levels, and more challenging rock faces. Others thrive in creative settings, and still others with a new and healthy sense of independence. All of them need the opportunity to just be a boy, to get their feet wet and their hands dirty.
There are a lot of things to pack, and a lot of instructions to be given, and we want to help with that. It is important that you read this carefully, but you do not need to worry about any of these things until then. If you read your packet, and use the "going to camp checklist" at the end, you will be all set.
Hiring staff is the most important thing we do, and we are extremely selective in choosing only the best young men to work at Timberlake. We know that our campers will emulate our staff and it's the counselors that make Timberlake great.

It is their skills that will be the foundation of safety in our programs, their sense of adventure that will inspire boys to try new things, and their Christian faith that will be fundamental in helping our campers grow.Camp Timberlake is a traditional, family-run, Christian summer camp.
We are made to live life together, in community, as a family. Tradition extends community beyond a single generation so that as soon as a new boy becomes a Timberlake boy he becomes part of the Timberlake family. Has it been a while? We miss you and we know you miss your old Timberlake friends. We want our alumni to stay in touch with each other and keep the Timberlake spirit alive through the generations.

Absolutely fantastic camp! The intentional investment made in the boys bears tangible results. My sons have grown every summer they’ve gone. They are challenged, encouraged, given new skill, given the opportunity to try things they never have before-all through activities that are taught and led by an amazing staff. We are incredibly grateful for this camp, and are excited to see how they will continue to grow into and utilize this beautiful new property!
