The guys here were so friendly and they did an awesome job. I brought in my riding boots that my mom had bought at a thrift store and worn for years, and my sister also wore them for years.. so they were beat.
They glued the leather to the sole, put plastic clickers on the bottom, and glued in new soles for around $40.
The only problem was that they're cash only. But I very happily walked three blocks and back to the market.

This father, son business is well worth the drive. I came from Castle Rock not knowing what to expect. They are knowledgeable, patient, kind, good business men. The shoes are ALL very well made. If quality and comfort is important this is the place to go! These are not your cheaply made, fall apart weeks later type of shoe. Quality Quality Quality. I’ll be returning again to get my next pair soon.

I have hard to fit feet and am constantly on the lookout for attractive, good fitting shoes. Roy took the time to really listen to what I needed and was able to find just what I wanted. The service is incredible. I had to go back to get my shoes adjusted, but this was done graciously and with great expertise.
The assortment is incredible! The styles and quality of the shoes beyond comparison.
I left the store with 2 new pairs of beautiful shoes and am beyond delighted.
I will be back for more!

Dov and Steve, the owners did a great job and was very nice and helpful in finding the right shoe for my wife and daughter. Since Birkenstocks are hot now, they went above and beyond to seek out the right fit and the right style and color. Of course good quality is not cheap, I know that and most know that.

I can’t tell you how many shoe stores I have been to in my life....a TON, and when I discovered these guys my constant foot pain had completely diminished! I came in today 12-5-18 at around 12:23pm to purchase another pair from them because last time I was in they were great. They took the time to help me find a fashionable shoe the would fit my wide foot. This time was not the same. I explained to the Clark I had been in before and purchased a pair of the a brand of shoes they cared and before I could start explaining it was not labeled as wide he cut me off and said rudely they have never made a 4e shoe. I started to talk again and he interrupted me again and showed me all the shoes they have in 4e none of which were like the dress shoes I inducted

I usually have a lot of difficulty buying shoes as I'm a wide width and high arch. I was also wearing out dress shoes in 2-3 months from other places. I thought I'd try this store and bought the first pair I tried on. Very comfortable, fit right, and high quality. A bit expensive but if they last it's totally worth it. Great customer service from the two gentlemen there! I would recommend to anyone who has difficulty finding comfortable shoes that fit.

I am a person that never writes reviews cause I have always believed that people should go and check places out for themselves and not rely on what others say. With that said Republic Shoes is an awesome shoe shop, with excellent customer service and great selection of shoes! I found out about them through a good friend of mine and boy she was right, I’m never shopping anywhere else for shoes....these guys are top notch! If your in need of shoes, go check them out, these guys are extremely knowledgeable in all areas pertaining to footwear!

I just found a Rare treasure in the store called REPUBLIC SHOES! OMG what a great find! Finally I found comfort, fashion and impeccable service all in one store. And easy parking to boot. This was an amazing experience and I even got to customize a new purse with the color I wanted.

Republic Shoes gets an A+ for personal service. You just don't find customer-oriented businesses like this anymore.
I was greeted right away when I walked in. I have trouble finding shoes that fit, and I don't like ordering online. I want to see and feel how the shoes interact with my feet before making a purchase. Plus, I want to be able to walk out with the pair I select. I don't want to wait around for them to be shipped. Republic Shoes actually specializes in hard to find fits, so they will likely have just what you are looking for.

I recently heard about this shoe store from a friend of mine so I though I would check them out and I'm glad I did! They have the best selection of shoes that are much better quality than your average shoe store. The really nice thing is that they specialize in the harder to find widths, like narrows and wides. Needless to say I bought several pairs of shoes which were not cheap but well worth it for the quality, comfort, and longevity that's associated with buying higher quality shoes. When we first walked into Republic shoes I was genuinely excited. It was the first store with wide sizes to have actually fashionable shoes. However as soon as we flipped over the first shoe and took in the 300 dollar price tag, we realized our excitement may have been unwarranted. The salesman was quick to inform us that the CHEAPEST pair of shoes was 150 dollars and that if we ever won the lottery we should feel free to come back. What a great store! I have very hard to fit feet, and they were able to come up with several pairs of beautiful shoes for me. If you they don't have the color you like, they'll order it for you or ship it to you. The man who helped me, Joe, practically offered to drive the shoes across town for me. The employees are ridiculously nice and helpful, and they have a surprising selection of high end shoes. This is not a place for cheap, one use shoes, come here instead for high quality and high price footwear, and most importantly, support local businesses!!

Bought a pair of work shoes from Republic Shoes I have a very long narrow foot and it is hard to get shoes to fit. I felt the clerks work on commission. I needed a pair of work shoes not a whole new closet of shoes. My focus was to get a good quality shoe slip resistant that fit my foot. I did get them but not without having to be shown shoes I was not interested They even in put a shoes brush in that I was charged for without being asked if I wanted it. I'm sure if I needed a shoe brush I am capable of getting my own brush without running up my bill. Also heard the same line over and again

I had a different experience from some others and, yes, they don't sell cheap shoes. And yes, I'm so happy I stopped in. My sister lives in Boulder and I'm a national tour as an entertainer. Over the past 7 years I've bought virtually all my shoes from a famous chain that promises you pay less, with no problem. While in South Dakota I bought a new pair of shoes from that OTHER chain. By Friday as I was arriving in CO I was in ENORMOUS pain and LIMPING. I have never had shoes made of such cheap material. I called around Boulder to see if places had my small size (7 to 7 1/2)

I thought I finally found a shoe store I'd like to work with but that changed quickly when I got home and realized their return policy is a no refund policy. Wouldn't a store that prided itself on good customer service verbally inform you of this type of return policy? Considering I spend a lot of money on shoes, I want to work with a place I can trust. Additionally, I felt like I was being 'sold'. A little too pushy for my taste. On top of it, I found the same shoes on sale online for $150 less!!!!! Normally, $100 less. Never again! POOR Business!!

Our family recently had the same experience with their BS no money back, return only for store credit, return policy. After purchasing some overpriced running shoes, (charging over the list price in this day and age is insane and this company must be heading our of business very soon) and never having worn them, we tried to return the shoes for cash. They were already charging $30 over the MSRP and forced us into buying ANOTHER pair of overpriced shoes, rather than refunding our money.
A quick check online showed that even Nordstrom was $35 cheaper for the same non-specialty

I'm a 6'4 26 year old guy working and going to school. I needed some higher end shoes for business and pleasure and went here to buy some eccos I've had trouble finding (since they have been discontinued). I was shocked that the shoes I've ALWAYS paid $175 for (from Ecco corporate) was priced at $205. They had 2 pairs left in my size (15) so I bought both pairs and walked out.
