This is a high quality shoe repair shop with a reliable and very high quality of customer service. I brought in an old and extremely dusty pair of formal shoes in order to get them cleaned and re-polished.
While there were a few bumps in the road that were not the fault of the shop, the owner of this establishment had an on-the-spot fix for me right before I left for the wedding.
She asked me to return after the trip, which I did and she made sure I left with an even higher quality finish. This shop stands by it's work.

I recently needed two zippers fixed - one on a 3/4 zip fleece where some teeth were bent and one on the bottom portion of a pair of hiking pants where the zipper stops at the bottom had fallen off allowing the zipper to zip right off the pant leg.
These repairs cost me $75. On the first item the teeth of the fleece partially bent back. The zipper teeth are still noticeably bent, I am sure this will be a problem again soon. The pants zipper had two metal bars on the bottom replaced to prevent the zipper from coming off. That was it. $75 for that work.

This place got the job done. I paid $28 for them to fix the broken strap on a leather purse. The job was ready as promised one week later, and they did a great job of stitching it up. Owners were friendly. They have a nice little collection of shoes and socks in there too! Will definitely support this local business again the next time I need shoes, purses or luggage returned.

I've been here twice and they've done a great job. I had some luggage that needed repair and I figured now was as good a time as any to get things repaired. They did a good job on my luggage. My second trip was to have a leather/suede purse cleaned. That was also done well and they recommended a leather/suede cleaner and Scotchguard that I could use on my purse for the future as well as for use on other items like my boots.
The services are a little high, but the work appears to be quality, so it all works out.
Definitely check their hours. They're open from 10 or 10:30 to 5.

I walked in with a pair of brand new designer riding boots and asked the woman if they could be tailored to fit my thin calves. She did not seem to want to help me, although I was the only person in the shop and she was sitting in the side room. She said that she would ask the tailor and call me the next day, and rudely told me to give her the boots. I reluctantly gave her the boots and left. The next day, I hadn't gotten a call by 5pm so I called the store. I haven't gotten many shoes shined before but I was expecting something better than the after picture below. I paid $19 to fix the scuffs and it looks like they made one pass at it. I could have done this work at home, and next time I'll save the money and do just that. In the light the color doesn't match and looks terrible against the original color. Not happy with the in person service or the result of the work.

I went in with a request not exactly shoe or luggage. I took in a 20+ yr old ball glove that just needed some new threads for more games, but I couldn't find a sport store to do it right, and kits weren't the right amount of thread. They didn't even blink at my request! I did ask for them to call me first with a price confirm, and got a call a day later within the work time frame they gave me upfront, that was very reasonable and the work exceeded my expectations!

My favorite pair of shoes were ruined!! Went in to get the bottom of the heels fixed. Took them to Europe for a wedding. I wore them and about half hour later I realized something wasn't right. I took them off to examine only to find out the heel was ripped off and attached with glue. Just came back from Europe so I will be going in there today to tell them about this. I dont want them touching them again but they must know that if they cannot repair minor fixes they shouldn't be in this business.

Today I picked up some new, never worn shoes at the shop I had left 6 days ago with new straps from the shoemaker to replace the existing straps, which weren't long enough for my ankles. No sewing was needed and there was just one little rivet holding the strap to the shoe. When I picked them up this afternoon, the young man had trouble finding them, and although I had not been quoted a price and there was no invoice, told me it was $20. I was shocked and told him so.
