They are extremely knowledgeable and Jim was were able to zone in on my specific issue, help me find the perfect shoes, as well as give me some recommendations to help my foot issues long-term.

It was my first time ever shopping for Hiking Boots. So I had my mindset for what I wanted. Amy (saleswoman) greeted me at the door. She was really friendly and helpful. I picked out a few shoes that wasn't available in my size. Amy brought out a few choices that fitted perfectly! I loved the styles too! Oboz in Sawtooth Violet & Cobb Hill in Fiona Brown. I bought both pairs! I'm so motivated and I can't wait to go hiking again. Thanks Murray's! My overall experience was Excellent! I bought a pair of arch support soles from here, and Jim and Alicia were very helpful and patient, and knowledgeable. Jim fit the soles to fit the shape of my feet, and I have noticed a big difference in my gait and the support in my ankles. In the past I bought OTC heel supports at various retailers, which made only a slight difference. But, coming here with my brother was a blessing, since I discovered I could get good foot support, without needing to go through a lengthy process to get it. Great experience overall!

I had an amazing customer experience at Murray's Shoes. I bought a pair of Birkenstock's and the post for the buckle broke off 2-3 weeks after I purchased them. When I brought them back, the manager literally went in the back, came out with a new pair gave them to me and said I didn't need to do anything further. I didn't need do produce my receipt, or fill out paperwork, or wait for him to find my purchase I their records.i was on my way in minutes. WOW- I was so impressed!!

I'm giving 5 stars because I can't give 6. I've been coming to see Mr Jim for tears now. I have let length issues and when I move back here from Phoenix I could find a person to make a pair if shoes for me and was referred here after a ton if looking. Now I've had others shoes made by other people by I can say I have never been taken care of by anyone other than Jim. I'm sure the guy is there to sell some shoes but Jim has something you don't find elsewhere, he cares. I don't think I've ever been in and out of in under an hour just because of the my level

A pair of shoes I purchased here came apart at one of the seams (maybe a 3" length), and I dealt with Alicia for a painless warranty issue. I traded out for the exact same shoes because they were so comfortable.
The experience was so great, I felt compelled to come on here and write them a review.
This is an old-fashioned, family-owned shoe store. It has been around since 1875. That alone should tell you how great they are.
They measure the width and length of your foot exactly. Nobody here says "he's 10 1/2-ish or-so..."

I've walked this world for too long to not know what I just learned here! I've been treating my foot pain as a plantar fasciitis problem when I have something entirely different going on. I was evaluated in a manner I found both credible and helpful and now I am feeling the most relief to my back and feet that I've felt in ages. My quest for the comfort of good shoes and support has ended!

I love Murray's! They have a good selection of comfortable shoes without looking old-ladyish. Their shoes are expensive, but you get what you pay for. One of the last true full service shoe stores around. They take the time to talk with you, understand your needs and what you are looking for. They actually slide the shoes on for you, and check the fit. It's not like Macy's where they throw a box at you and walk away. I love that I am able to support a local, family owned business.

This place is great if you need a really high quality shoes, and are tired of shoes that fall apart after a year. I'm a heath care worker, and I'm on my feet literally all day, sometimes working double shifts. The athletic shoes I bought for many years just weren't cutting it, and I was having a lot of back and foot pain. I finally went to a podiatrist, and he recommended a few brands that are hard to find in a lot of stores. A lot of my colleagues like Danskos, but I prefer Merrell (even if they are a little manly) and Birkenstock (for my days off!). My mom loves the Aetrex

High standards of customer service and personalized fittings. The staff is excellent at shoe fitting and will not promote a product they do not feel is right for the individual. . The store can be busy but keep in mind the attention is so individualized that you will want to plan to wait a little longer than traditional store. As a medical person, the high quality product lines and careful attention to detail was impressive. Strongly recommend for persons with special needs including orthotics. My mom flies in special to purchase shoes from them. Even medical supply stores struggle despite specialized

I walked in to look at sandals. When I walked in, the store was busy with customers. I was not acknowledged by a staff member during my half hour visit, though I tried desperately to get someone to answer a question.
The other customers in the store were very kind. I realize that I was not there to buy a $300 pair of shoes or a more expensive pair of custom orthotics during this visit- but after my experience, I wouldn't spend a dime there. I'll go to Foot Solutions or the Walking Company any day.
