I needed some repairs and alterations done to some leather. They were fast and efficient to get the measurements done.
I will pick them up next week. Though another customer that was there confirmed that they adhere to the Scotty principle: underpromise and overdeliver. This isn’t a bad thing customer service wise. :)
Not a disqualifier but make sure you bring a check or cash. They don’t take credit cards (which I understand).

I am so happy that I finally found my go-to alteration shop. I have visited many other shops in Denver, and Lowry Alterations stands out on so many levels. Not only is the quality of work superior to others, they are so helpful in finding a solution that is personalized to me. I had a dress that was too small and had no material to be let out and they re-created it to fit like a glove! They have done so many of my basic and complex alterations and have absolutely saved my closet!

I just started getting my clothes altered and Lowry Alterations is really close by. They got the job done in the time I needed, but I will say this is on the more expensive side which makes sense in this area. Also it is cash only just so you know ahead of time.
I would recommend going here if you need your stuff done in a time crunch!

These guys can handle anything; they are life savers. They've done a full range of alterations for me, from hemming a simple skirt to almost completely re-sewing a formal gown. Everything comes our perfect. Any glitches are handled respectfully and fixed without complaint or argument. Larisa (the owner) is a true master!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I tried to visit local businesses to support small business in my neighborhood. These guys are NOT worth the trip. They have ruined an expensive piece of clothing, and when I approached the woman about it, she was snide, rude, made comments under her breath, and the other one in the back rolled her eyes and mumbled to herself. All within sight and hearing range. They are incapable of customer service if things go awry, and, as I told the lady herself, if the gentleman had been allowed to manage the complaint of ruined clothing, I would have left it at that

Earlier this year, I had ordered an ice skating dress online. When it came, the dress was too short and I couldn't clip the straps on my shoulders. Luckily, I found Lowry Alterations. They fixed my dress perfectly!! It fits just right now and I couldn't be happier with it. The service there was great and the owners helped me in every way they could. One of the ladies there told me she would have the dress finished by Saturday, but I needed it earlier than that. I've had a good experience in the past here. They aren't super friendly and only take cash but got the job done. Picked up my light pink gown today to find it had maroon lipstick looking stain down the front (oddly the saw color the woman was wearing...)They offered no discount (it was $80 hem job) and tried to charge me to have it cleaned. Take a full inventory of your garment in front of the staff when you drop it off and point out any spots/ lack thereof.

I just picked up my wedding dress. I dropped it off last Monday and they wanted me to come in for a fitting Saturday but I couldn't due to my schedule so I returned today. PERFECTION! I have not one complaint, no worries. Nothing but joy from the work done. Only 5 days. Only $185 for a wedding dress alteration. You can't beat that. The service was great and I do have to say while I was there both times they had repeat customers come in which means they do good work. I will return when ever I need any alterations done and wont think twice about it. I didn't have to make

I was completely desparate to get an alteration done on a bridesmaid dress and decided on Lowry Alterations. I was so so so pleased that they were able to turn it around in ONE day. I dropped it off on a Monday and needed it Wed morning by the latest and she had it done Tuesday night. They were creative and did an excellent job..it had to be make a little bigger..sigh :) I thought I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars for the quick turnaround, but nope, $60. I will definitely go there again for alterations. They were fantastic.
