Bowman Cellars was founded in 2013 by a fth generation northern California family, the Bowman's. Alexander Bowman, the youngest member, has brought his wine industry family together to produce wines that express a sense a place from the stunning appellations in which they reside.
Alex grew up making wine with his father Doug from fruit off their Sauvignon Blanc vineyard in west Santa Rosa, as well as Zinfandel from their vineyard in Mountain Ranch, located in the Sierra Foothills.Alex and Doug, believe in growing their crops with a soft human touch, so they don't interfere with the way of nature and sourcing their fruit from local farmers that have the same integrity and style as their own.

This is a beautiful, thoughtfully decorated space with a great outdoor area! The owners, Katie and Alex are very hands on and are often helping with the tasting experience. Flyn is also a wonderful hostess. I love the wine and they also offer perfectly paired charcuterie options to go with it. This is such a hidden gem and I am so happy I found it! I am now a wine club member and they have great club perks too! I highly recommend Bowman Cellars!

This was my first time to go to a wine tasting room and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was visiting Graton and a few nights earlier when I walked by the outside patio was very lively. I went back just after opening in the late morning and enjoyed a small taste of each different wine, from a sparkling to a Cabernet. They were all excellent, smooth and delicious. Katie was warm and welcoming and answered all of my questions. I bought some bottles, but of course now I want to join the club. Such a delightful place.

This tasting room was a surprise gem of a find here. We had come down to this street to get breakfast and found this tasting room instead! Flyn was one of the most kind, fun, and accommodating hosts. The wine amazing, but she made our experience special.

Katie and Alex, the owners, are the coolest people you'll ever meet. They make you feel at home and of course are very educated with the wines they create and give to you. We became wine members the first time we went tasting there on our own, and have taken most of our family members as well. At one point we were visiting every month!

The space is lovely: tucked into the quiet community of Graton, the tasting room has a large outdoor space filled with comfy seating. The landscaping is lovely and makes you feel like your are having a drink in a friend's back yard. the the interior is eclectic and fun with amusing paintings throughout, fun wall paper and rustic seating. The space is bright, light and casual. I became a wine club member for the wine, but stayed for the outdoor space.

Out of all the wine tasting spots in the area this one was by far the best. The outdoor seating was very Posh and sexy; perfect for couples who are looking to wine taste in the area. The selection of wines were very aromatic and Pleasant. I felt like I learned a lot about the winemaking process as the hosts we're keenly informed and educated.

What can I say ??? Great owners, friendly staff and awesome wine! When they have the rose back in stock during spring, I'll be running back ! Free tasting if you buy a bottle. I love the reusable concept! I refilled on the chardonnay last time and it did not disappoint. Cute decor and place overall! A total must jf you haven't been!

Katie (Caity) and Amanda were beyond helpful for me. A good friend of mine was having a bridal party that I couldn't make it to, so I purchased a courtesy bottle for the bride. Swung by a few weeks ago, based on positive Yelp reviews. I was instantly charmed by the warm hospitality. Bowman wines hold their own against the best in Sonoma, and do so without pretention and attitude. The Pinot, in particular, was a standout. I joined the club and am excited to return for tastings and events in the future. Bonus points for being dog friendly!

Went there with a group of 6 people. We sat outside in comfy chairs and were treated to a delightful seated tasting, hosted by the wife of the owner and wine maker - she was darling.
For $15 we tasted their Rose of Pinot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cab. We especially liked their Rose - light, flavorful and tasty - perfect for a summer day.
Since we were there on a weekend so they had their famous biscuit sandwiches available from the air stream. We each got a sandwich with a side salad - very tasty as well.
It is a quiet town so the atmosphere was serene

My first visit here and won't be my last! I loved everything about Bowman Cellars, from the warm & friendly service, the incredible wines and the gorgeous setting. I am not typically a Rose or Chardonnay fan, however I was pleasantly surprised how delicious both of these were. The Rose was so refreshing and not too sweet- a perfect summer wine. We happened to bring our own picnic, but they offer some nice small bites if you choose not to bring your own food. We sat on the covered porch which was perfect on the warm day we visited. They have an amazing Airstream Trailer on the grounds which

Such a great place! The interior has nice ambiance, and there's outdoor seating that is good for groups. They even have live music. I enjoyed their wines. The salad I had was also really tasty. It's hard to believe they've only been open for 5 months- I would've thought they've been around for much longer seeing how well established they are. The owners are also really kind and give great local tips for out of town visitors. Definitely recommend.

I'm always on the lookout for cool new places to try and Bowman Cellars doesn't disappoint. I love the location, it's set in the small town of Graton and offers seating both inside and out. The wines are delicious, especially the Chardonnay, and you can do a tasting flight or enjoy a glass. I would suggest ordering a glass of wine and then stepping outside to play some corn hole. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of care and love into this sweet hangout spot and it's definitely paid off. I can't wait to see what fun events they decide to have here.
