The importance of positive childhood experiences and their relation to future success in life is universally understood today, but this wasn't so back in 1986 when Founder and President of Educational Playcare, Jane Porterfield completed her master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Childcare options at that time were basically glorified babysitting with little in the way of an educational component.

In the midst of pandemic, I was in a fix on finding a good daycare for my 6month old. I reached out to Educational playcare, and that made the entire support so smooth. My daughter feel happy there and returns home with a smile. They engage kids in so many activities, her food is taken care of, kids are made to have fun and there are so many compliments that I can add for EP. Ms Sara, Ms Zidania and all other room staffs are very caring and warm to the kids.
They follow all safety measures without fail. I completely recommend this center for a stress free happy growing kid.

Educational Playcare has been a great choice for our family. Since the moment we walked in to take a tour of the facility, the administrative staff has been attentive and informational. The facility is clean, orderly and inviting. Our child's teachers are caring and invested in their development. The teachers and administrative staff make themselves available to answering our questions and connecting with us to better get to know our family. We also enjoy that our child gets to interact with a diverse group of children and caretakers.

We decided to change daycare centers when the pandemic was first happening and everything was closing. We felt very comfortable with the safety precautions EP was taking.
Our daughter has also flourished since making the change. I have no doubt she will be more than prepared for kindergarten next year.

When researching and touring centers for my infant daughter, choosing EPC was a no-brainer for my family. From day one, we have felt comfortable and at home here. The directors and teachers are knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Between the curriculum, teacher credentials, tadpoles, informational emails and the overall spaciousness of the center/playgrounds, EPC truly seems to have it all. I highly recommend EPC Manchester to local families looking for quality childcare. My daughter attends the preschool program and from the newly renovated facilities to the caring and loving teachers and staff and the fun and educational curriculum we could not be happier there. EPC Manchester has been an amazing experience! We had to pull our daughter from a home day care when she was only 4 months old b/c we learned that they had her sleeping alone on a couch or on a blanket on the floor- at 4 months!! EPC was able to help us get settled really quickly - they immediately made us feel safe and like our daughter was in great hands. She's now just over 1 year old and has been flourishing. My niece and nephew attend daycare at Educational Playcare in Manchester. I love that they send pictures and updates during the day. Whenever I pick them up, the facility is always very clean and they are very proactive with their COVID19 precautions. I feel very safe having my loved ones in their care.

I went on a tour here looking for a daycare for my 4mo old son. They had very high reviews so I was hopeful. However it became extremely apparent they did not live up to they’re reputation. The infant room was nice and the teacher did look like she was caring but everyone I meet was extremely young and didn’t seem to know what they were talking about. This included the director. I have worked in childcare for 12years so I can stop inexperience from a mile away and this Director really had no idea what she was doing.
