Briefly explained, your CORE includes all musculature surrounding the trunk area from the front to back. These muscles need a specific balance of strength and mobility for proper movement.

Utilizing a non-traditional approach, Intermix Pilates addresses these bio-mechanical variables to improve muscle development, postural alignment, and alleviate chronic pain/injuries if presented.

Prenatal Classes - The Prenatal routine at Intermix Pilates is a safe and effective way of maintaining fitness and health throughout the months of pregnancy. We specifically address any alignment issues that many pregnant women face as their bodies transform to assure they stay free from pain and injury.
People don't realize that the exercises in Mat Classes may be more difficult than working on the Pilates equipment. Generally, lack of mobility will prevent the individual from executing the exercises properly and require the assistance of springs and pulleys.
