Nice apartments, conveniently located close to the interstate and just a few minutes away from downtown Martinez! Updated inside, very clean common areas. Amenities include laundry room, gym and a pool. Some units have a screened in balconies-in case you have a pet that likes to go outside and you want to keep it protected!

I lived in these apartments for 2 years and had one of (if not the) best experiences! The apartments are spacious and get tons of natural light, the floor to ceiling windows are a dream, and both management and the maintenance crews are responsive and so generous! In the two years I lived there I had three small maintenance requests and even during covid they were accommodating and quick to respond. The appliances are good quality (never had a maintenance call about any of them), the grounds are well taken care of, and the little monthly community newspaper they curate is so wonderful! Parking

I recently moved out of Muirwood Garden apartments after living there for a little over a year. The only reason I moved was because I was able to purchase my own place.
I thoroughly enjoyed living at Muirwood! The amenities of the beautiful pool, valet service for garbage/recycling, new washers and dryers in the laundry rooms and the location are more than enough for me to recommend living there. But I must also mention how great the management is. Gina and Darlene are so nice and accommodating. Very friendly and pleasant always!! Lastly, the apartments themselves are nice and the whole complex

Recently stopped by on short trip. I found Muirwood on Truilla, and made him stop by. Darlene was amazing, very personable and kind she showed us a few of the available units, and answered our many questions. The community seems amazing, and the property clean and safe. And a year round heated pool.There is a movie theater, grocery store and great food options nearby. This was definitely in our top 5 apartments to apply for.

We moved to Muirwood a couple years ago our experience has been pretty good and we enjoyed the community so far. Gina (Community Director) is helpful and available, very nice and outgoing as well. We like our stay so far and hopefully the apartment keeps improving to newer appliances at no extra cost. Great pool and lots of outdoor spaces and awesome places to eat plus movie theaters within walking distance. Anyway, check it out for yourself and I hope this helps.

I am artist and I conduct paint night parties at luxury apartments. I reached out to Muirwood Gardens few weeks back. Gina Erbland answered my phone when I called first, she is the community director of this place. She was so humble and friendly to talk to. She gave me time and listened to my offer and was so patient with me throughout the call. She informed me that they don't have a club-house but she really wants to organize paint night event for her residents. I love living at Muirwoods Apartments, the location is so awesome and there is a movie theater across the street you can walk too as well as a shopping center that has everything you need. I mostly like how well kept the grounds are and nothing beats the management and staff who bend over backwards to make sure our communinity is well taken care of and that we are happy. I love my neighbors and the pool / spa area is so beautiful. I see it from my bedroom window and feel so grateful to live here! Rock on !

Probably Worst Apartment community in the area. Please stay away from this. You will see disparity/discrimination with the treatment to residents. They are known to charging hefty amounts when you terminate your lease. I heard from the community Manager Gina that they had charged some residents with $8000 - $10000.
Pros: Close to highway, Movie Theater & Shopping Centers
Cons: Everything else particularly the management & infrastructure.
This community is without a pool for a year and residents were given a paltry discount on one month rent, that too not for all residents.

The onsite manager are great. They are very nice and if I have something needs to be fixed they are quick (always come on

Excellent place to live! I've been here for a year and it's clean and safe. Gina and Darlene and staff respond to maintenance and requests immediately. Walkable distance to a grocery store, a variety of restaurants, and movie theater with $5 tickets on Tuesdays. Neighbors are friendly for the most part greeting and smiling.

Moved out a couple months ago. The staff is great from the office to maintenance, never had a single issue and they always fixed problems quickly. The area around the apartment complex is convenient as it is located to next to a shopping center and 5min drive to BART NC/M to head into the city. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and very clean upon moving in. The only downsides were the dated cabinets, carpet in bedrooms which felt weird, and the carpet in hallway which usually smelled like dog urine or the trash. We stayed in Muirwood for 4.5 and it was largely peaceful. The advantage is that it is closer to Freeway, Shopping malls, Movie Theater. On the flip side, not enough parking spot, No space at all inside the community(outside apartment), Theft in the post box, No Swimming pool. More importantly, they are charging hefty when you move out. This is applicable irrespective of your stay or the condition of the apartment. Rent is so high for what they are offering. There are better communities in this area than Muirwood.

I recently moved out of these apartments after 3.5 years to be closer to work. From Gina in the office to the maintenance staff, the personnel at this property have been attentive, friendly, and sincere. I visited multiple apartments when looking to move to Martinez, and the staff and apartment layout won me over. It's location next to the Muir Station shopping center and a local movie theater is a plus. They would also host quarterly events such as poolside parties or a showing of a new release at the movie theater across the street.

The covered, assigned parking spaces, the large, resort-style pool, the on-site gym, the well-maintained grounds and laundry rooms added greatly to our comfort. There is an up-scale grocery store and small shopping center right next door.

I love this apartment complex. We moved in mid June this year. We looked at about 5 other complexes and they were okay but when we came for the tour at muir woods we knew we found the place for us. I think what really sold us despite the 24 hour gym, washers/dryers on site, and an elevator that can fit a queen mattress it was the car screening. Our cat is an indoor only so the pet screening is perfect so our cat can finally be outside technically.

Apartments are fairly well laid out and spacious. The grounds are well kept. Facilities for children are non existent other than the pool, and there are rules restricting their use of that.
Elevators in all buildings and they are all wheelchair accessible.
Rents are high but comparable to others in the area. Very convenient to the freeway and the bus stops right in front of the complex. Shopping and theater within walking distance.

After being a loyal resident for over 5 years - paying rent on-time - never having any noise complaints against us, etc. we had our car illegally towed and were facing over $800 to get it out of the impound lot.
There were no signs posted and I (as well as other residents) were not given a written notice placed on the car 96 hours before the tow - as required by law.
They have since posted signs - AFTER the cars were towed.
Myself and many other residents were forced to pay the outrageously high cost to get our cars.
