I would totally recommend Turbo Tim’s! I normally am charged way more for these services when I go to the dealership or to a chain auto repair shop. I also was treated with respect, which doesn’t always happen(especially in typically male dominated spaces). I will absolutely be switching to them for all my automotive needs. Plus! Who doesn’t like cats 🐈⬛

What a great group. I had a leak in my brake line, and they got me in immediately and detected the problem. So friendly and professional! And, they explained everything to me in terms that a woman would understand. They did not talk down to me at all. Love this place, and will return if necessary. I will refer anyone to them because they definitely know what they’re doing. And, their surroundings are awesome. Love the cats.

This review for everyone at Turbo Tim's is long overdue as they have helped me immensely over the past few years. This is the auto shop everyone wants/hopes to have, but rarely finds. The employees at Tim's, particularly Martin, are so incredibly genuine, helpful, and kind. They always provide updates and are constantly communicating about their work. On top of that, their repair work is top notch and can't be beat.
Seriously, this place rocks and I don't want to take my car anywhere else ever.

Turbo Tim's took great care of me! They were informative, quick, and most importantly - understanding! My car had been stolen and basically driven into the ground by the time it was found. When it came out that my car was toast, the staff worked with me to make sure I could get the most out of their services. Ultimately, we decided to scrap the car and they took care of my bill. Best experience I have ever had at a mechanic. Truly made the best out of a sad situation. I'd highly recommend Turbo Tim's to anyone. (Plus, they have cute shop kitties!)

Well to start with took my vehicle with misfires problems on my engine, they have my vehicle for like 4 days. they couldn't find the problem, finally they came out it was the valves in my engine so they proced to work in it telling me that will fix the issue on my vehicle.long story short the price for fixing the "issue" total was $1,500.pick up… the vehicle 3 days later i started to hear a knocking in the engine 2 weeks later my engine blow out.take the vehicle back to them spoke to Tim the owner and he told me it was my problem and take it back to who ever fix my timing belt, my vehicle

If you're in the Twin Cities, I highly recommend Turbo Tim's Automotive. They made the entire process of having my catalytic converter stolen 🙄 and replaced as painless as possible. I've used them for years and have received wonderful service, never been talked down to (for being a novice or a woman) and their communication throughout the process was excellent.

Will never go to another auto shop. Turbo Tim's took great care of my vehicle. Dropped it off the night before, the following day before 9am they already had updates for me. While working on my car throughout the day they texted me updates walking me through every individual charge and also gave me options on what to choose from. Truly couldn't have asked for anything more. Taylor is outstanding along with the rest of the team. A++!!

I live in Florida but arranged to have my son's car towed here as I suspected the starter went out. I got everything set up and used the tow company Turbo Tim suggested. After the dropoff, my son became the point of contact and everything went south. Before I could figure anything out, my son (who has NO MONEY!) approved a ton of work and premium parts replacements. With a 20-year-old vehicle, I wasn't about to replace OEM Honda parts. The guys were very patient trying to talk me off a ledge. Long story short, they bent over backward to cancel the order and replace the starter with locally

I took my car to Tim's for a checkup after neglecting car care for too long. After reading the reviews, I felt I could get trustworthy service. Tim's was able to work me in for an appointment within a few days. After the diagnostic check and tune up, they called me to explain the results. I appreciated their explanations and up front pricing for each thing that needed to happen. There were a few things needing to be done but I could not afford all of them at once. They gave me 2 things that were priority one and told me I could wait a few months on the rest. I appreciated this honesty

Update on my Turbo Tim's review: Turbo Tim's continues to disappoint even after I quit going there. The starter that they put in 3 years ago has now quit working. Their warrantee is only for 2 years, so they won't replace it. Thankfully Stinson Automotive is taking care of it and offers a lifetime warrantee on the starter.

Ok I'll admit it, Turbo Tim's set themselves up for success before I even walked through their La Croix lined entrance. I've always admired their wicked wacky ads in City Pages, their cat-enthused branding, and seeing their stickers in most Lyft drivers' cars (whom swear by TTs). So when the post-winter potholes beat the crap out of my car, I came right to Turbo Tim's on Central.
I am a sucker for their amenities... like the nitro cold press and energy drinks on tap, fridge of La Croix, local art and murals, several types of games in the waiting room, big fish tanks,

I no longer get into my car and turn the radio up super loud to drown out all the weird noises my car is making that I hadn't fixed. After a year of thinking about it and thinking about it and turning my radio louder and louder to drown it out, I finally took my car to Turbo Tim's! I had previously taken my car to another car place that claimed that my check engine light repair would take at least $600 plus a fee to stock the part and on top of that, they charged me $125 to run the computer program that told them what my check engine light said. My 2005 Ford Focus broke down after hours and someone recommended I have it towed to Turbo Tim's (alternator issue). So glad I did. Despite the fact that it was a Friday and super cold, Tim let me know they could probably get in done by EOD - I was shocked!! So fast!!
