Rental Fee Deposit of 25% of the basic rental, and the $50.00 non-refundable Reservation Fee must be received on the day the reservation was made. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival. Payments will be accepted in the form of cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover. By paying the deposit you signify that you agree to abide by the terms of the condominium rules, regulations, and occupancy limits.

We spent a long birthday weekend here just recently and were very impressed at this place! Older units and building, but very well kept and spotless upon arrival. The beach is literally right out the back door! A lot of places say they are "on the beach", and many of those are not actually right on the beach. This place is. Although next to a high-rise building, it feels very low-key and just very pleasant. We would totally stay here again! Only downside, very sparse on the supplies (no salt, just pepper; two rolls of TP per bathroom, no paper towels, no bottle opener, etc). But for all the positives

Our 1st time at LaPlaya and we absolutely loved it! The unit was fully equipped with everything one will need for a beach vacation!
The two ladies in the office were super nice, professional and accommodating, we had some difficulties with the AC unit and they immediately scheduled a tech to arrive and check on the system.
We will be back!

The rental agent was quite rude. I had seen the listing on VRBO for a rental and the rental agent questioned my doing so. Not only did she berate me she emphasized how Longboat Key is quite safe and everyone know everyone. That wasn’t my point at all! I was checking to be sure the VRBO ad was legitimate. I have stayed in Longboat Key numerous times and I’m very familiar with the area. The rental agent was extremely rude. She’s not doing LaPlaya any justice with an attitude like this to potential customers. Extremely disappointed and will search elsewhere. Charlene McCarthy

LaPlaya is a great place to stay - well maintained with everything you need for a beach vacation. Our unit was beautifully decorated, roomy and comfortable, and had an amazing view of the beach and ocean. Our biggest complaints are that the upstairs bathroom is outdated, the master bedroom door does not have a lock, and the kitchen is very small and has little cabinet space to keep food and other items if you are planning to do lots of cooking in. The kitchen is well-stocked, however! It was Red Tide while we were there, which is no fault of LaPlaya's, but we were devastated when we got there and

Perfect location for beach lovers! The condo was rather small, about 700 SqFt but it was very well equipped and very comfortable and since we spend most of our time on the beach and around the pool - it was not a problem at all!
The staff in the on-site office was super responsive and professional; during our stay we needed access to the printer and Kamilla was printing and scanning our documents for us daily even thou the office was extremely busy.
The grounds are immaculate! There is a small eating area on the beach with tables, umbrellas and grills which was just perfect for a sunset dinner

We didn't plan a Florida vacation but after being home for a year, we decided it is time to go somewhere! We started the process online and sent out bunch of inquiries. Few days later we were little discouraged since most of the places on Longboat key were sold out already... I guess we were not the only people ready to travel again!
We were about to give up and cancel our flights, when late in the evening we received an email from Kamila saying that she got a cancellation and a Gulf front unit is available for our dates.

Perfect location for a family vacation on the beach. Facility is great because it is not too big, so no over crowding. The unit was clean and well stocked. The door to the beach had to be blocked with a chair to keep it from blowing open. The only other solution was to keep it locked the entire time, which doesn't make sense because it leads to the porch and beach. Some of the living room furniture needs to be updated to at least not be stained. The bed configuration a little odd and the twin beds were very uncomfortable. Overall it was still a great vacation. Just needs a little TLC.
