We have stayed in many units at the Beachcomer over the years. This was probably the cleanest, most updated unit to date. All the furniture was clearly new. If there was anything i would suggest is better cookware in the kitchen (we cook a lot) and an area rug or two. It will be our first choice from now on.

My wife and I just returned from a 9 day stay at the Beachcomber and we will definitely be back. For the past 20 years we had been staying at the Seahorse up the road but that place has turned into a party place with loud music and some obnoxious guests. Last year we walked down to the Beachcomber and the place was quiet and very well kept so this year we booked it. The staff is friendly and helpful, the condo clean and well appointed. The best part is it was peaceful and relaxing. It seems the beachcomber is geared more toward people that are middle age like us and up. If you’re looking for

Our family booked a last minute Florida vacation and The Beachcomber did not disappoint. They were able to accommodate our dates with ease and were very affordable for the area. Our 2-bedroom unit had gorgeous views. It was recently updated with comfortable beds and lovely clean bathrooms. The large laundry facility was on the ground floor. Our daughter loved the pool, which is located right on the beach. We took advantage of Publix and Walgreens across the street. Overall very excellent.

Love the location on Longboat Key. Condo we stayed in (406) was very nice - everything you need for your stay. View of the Gulf a bit obstructed by palm trees but still amazing. Inexpensive laundry facilities on site available for longer stays. Only 40 units in the building. Chairs and umbrellas provided. Staff very helpful. Will reserve a condo at this location again.

This place has more rules than an elementary school. We got told we where taken up to much space on the beach (We had 8 people). My 12 year old daughter didn't dry off completely before getting in the elevator and she got asked to clean up her wet footprints!?!? I brought a glass beer in the pool area with a koozie around it and somebody call the police and said I had beer on the beach! We call this place the fun-suckers, no way I would ever stay here again.

Great location, great price, great unit, great staff. I found this place when I saw dolphins video. Woohoo! Dolphins promoted this place, they got me! Very nice communications with the staff prior to our stay and during our stay. I spoke with Cindy on the phone and was told about everything I needed to know up front. Donna and Cindy who are in-charge at the lobby were helpful, nice and informative. Their maintenance staff members are also very helpful. As guests at this condominium, you must follow the rules. They really keep the place super clean. Cleanliness, quiet, courteous to other guests

The location of these condos is very good. You can be in Sarasota or Anna Maria in less than 20 min. The beach is clean and beautiful. The pool area is the same. Plenty of parking. The units are privately owned I think so the decor will vary from unit to unit. The price was very good. Around $1000 for a week or a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa. Perfect space for family of four. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

My husband and I just returned from a week of fun in the sun at the Beachcomber in Longboat Key Florida. Our stay at the Beachcomber was one of our best stays in Florida ever. Our unit (404) was very well decorated. The paint colors, updated kitchen, updated bathrooms, and beach decor were awesome. The long balcony allowed our mornings of breakfasts watching the waves, and late evenings watching the sunset to be just perfect. The pool area and grounds were very neat, clean, and landscaped. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. It was great having them there in the building. We
