Services
This second-floor suite has an elegant, two-person free standing soaking tub, with a beautiful chandelier hanging above it. You'll sleep great on the queen canopy bed. The electric fireplace and daybed invite you to relax or work in comfort. The daybed converts to a twin bed to accommodate a third person.
By far our largest rentable space, the Carriage House will be your home away from home. The bedroom has a king size, cathedral style canopy bed. The room also has some of our favorite period pieces and a large closet for your clothes keeping needs. The bathroom has a 15-foot ceiling and lovely walk in shower!
This extra-large suite is great for our mostly autonomous traveler. It's not only roomy but has its own full kitchen! You'll love preparing dinner in this spacious and stylish kitchen. This suite has a queen bed and a small couch that converts to a twin bed and a dining table. The private bath has an oversized shower.
The original bay window in this second-floor room is perfect for cuddling up with a book in the afternoon, where you have a view of Golden's Northern foothills and the 100 plus year-old Colorado Spruce in the front yard. This room features 160 year-old exposed brick! The room has a grand queen bed and the private bath has a shower.
A six-foot long antique claw foot tub/shower in the private bath is a distinctive feature of this second-floor room. Originally made in 1909, these tubs were used in bath houses and constructed in this size for the long and lean cowboys that would need a soak after a long, hard day. Original brick is exposed, adding to the charm of the Victorian room.

The cutest place! As soon as you walk in, it's warm and inviting, you just know you didn't book a long enough stay. The Inn has a beautiful, updated, modern kitchen with tons of coffee and tea choices, snacks, and a good, light breakfast selection. The downstairs living area and rooms are comfortable and have all the charm of a historical building. It's private, but if you want some company we found the other guests that were in the common areas were lovely and open to chatting. Not to mention, you can't beat its location and the access to the main strip on Golden. Even in December we walked everywhere

This is a magical space. I went for a little staycation escape on my own and stayed in the Columbine room. It was perfect for me but might be cramped even for a couple. The space was beautifully decorated and super clean. You could tell that the owners had put a lot of love and thoughtfulness into making it into something special. The sheets were really soft and there was a good selection of pillows.
I loved how they managed to fit the bathroom into the room, and I thought it was interesting how in that space, the shower was actually in the room as well. I definitely would recommend it to a solo

We did not get the code to get into the inn and or room until after an hour of check in time. We were late to a dinner reservation because of this. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Just granola and old pastries, and maybe just for our stay but some pastries were cut in half or looked like a bite taken out of. Needless to say we searched out breakfast elsewhere. The same pastries were there for 3 days.
The room was nice. The house was quiet. Great location for the nice town of Golden to walk around and enjoy. Close to Red Rocks Amphitheater. Denver is an Uber ride away. Overall enjoyable stay

Wow! I fell in love. The front room is so inviting and intriguing. I had to sit and take a deep breath to take it all in. Absolutely gorgeous! For me, it touches on a Walt Disney vibe. Walt Disney wanted everything to be top notch, magical like you were transported to a different world and he did not cut corners. The owner has done that here at the Dove Inn by bringing to life the Victorian era with modern conveniences. I could relax and feel at home. Thank you for creating this masterpiece. I will definitely stay again.

I absolutely love this boutique inn! It was so easy to self-check in and out. The lobby is so homey and they have everything you need to make coffee, tea or to have a snack. We stayed in the Queen Anne Suite. I love how it is decorated and that there is a comfy couch where you could relax and read. On top of all this, Dove Inn is located in the heart of Golden. There are so many great restaurants and bars to walk to. The creek is so pretty and is so fun to walk/bike/tube around there. It's also a great location to drive to red rocks or Denver! I highly recommend it.

Perhaps the most quaint, hip, clean, and lovely boutique hotel I have ever stayed in. They have perfected the art of an independent bed and breakfast… I personally am not looking to sit and have a formal breakfast with strangers but they have created a common space that is the perfect balance of social interaction and independence. The rooms are amazingly decorated… very vintage yet not losing modern comforts. Super clean…literally smells amazing every time you walk in the door. Also amazing smelling bath products. This little place made me fall in love with Golden … I wish I had more time

Such a cozy and amazing place! The location can't be beat. We were able to walk through the restaurants and shops conveniently in downtown Golden, and it was a very short walk back to the inn. Our room - the Shakespeare Room - was accessed on the outside of the main house and included a cute patio with table. The main house has a community kitchen that was super clean and stocked with waters, yogurts, juice, cold brew, and you can grind your own coffee. Lovely place! Hotels were booked right after the storm and although my husband was hesitant (he's a "hotel" kind of guy) about the "unknown", he loved it right away, we were so happy to find this Inn and is this area! We stayed in the suite above the garage and it was very nice, comfortable and cozy. Living (lobby) area is so well thought. You can tell the owners really care about their place and guests. We would definitely stay at The Dove again!

We feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon The Dove Inn. Ashley was most helpful. She gave us a tour of the facilities and each room. The kitchen is top notch and the fireplace in the living room made for a great altar. Renting the entire inn for the night was an easy decision and it worked out beautifully for our friends and family. Everyone raved about their rooms and the proximity to our dinner spot downtown was super convenient. Thank you for helping to make our wedding awesome!

I booked a night by myself at the Dove Inn to celebrate a milestone and I'm sincerely glad I did! The inn was beautiful and it was clear every detail has been thought through. I stayed in the Red Rocks room and it was just the cozy space I was hoping for. I felt safe, had all the amenities I needed (including HBO!), loved how short of a walk it was to get dinner/drinks, slept really well and loved the local pastries and coffee available in the morning. I would highly recommend staying here! It's beautiful through and through!

We've stayed here several times on trips to visit our Mines student and have felt at home and pampered each time. Each room has a unique charm, with comfortable beds, quiet, and great views of South and North Table. We love the self serve continental breakfast, amazing tea and coffee selection, and kombucha on tap. The Inn is one block from downtown and several blocks from campus and hiking, so everything is walkable. This place is the cutest little boutique b&b!! The home is newly remodeled but they left its historic character. They had kombucha and cold brew coffee on tap, have exposed brick that is 160 years old, and the softest sheets I've ever felt in my life. They're also very behind the scenes with keycodes to get in, no check-in/check-out at a front desk type deal. We came to the Dove Inn to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, and we stayed in The Parisian room. It was so romantic, we loved every detail! The exposed brick and bay windows were what sold us!!! I'm a Denver resident who has been to Golden many times but I don't feel like I'd truly "been" to Golden until my staycation at The Dove Inn. The keyless entry made me feel right at home and the proximity to downtown Golden lit my extroverted, wanderlusty heart right up! The decor, atmosphere and attention to detail coupled with the intimacy/coziness set this boutique hotel apart for me. I was completely charmed by my short stay and definitely plan to escape here more often.

The Dove Inn is a DREAM. After several months of not traveling due to COVID, my traveller's spirit was craving to get away. The Dove Inn was the perfect staycation for my fiancé and I. The moment we pulled up, we were so in love with the space. The outside courtyard area was so inviting. We walked into the common area and felt right at home as music played faintly in the background and we were greeted with kombucha on tap and amazing local coffee. Loved everything except the bed. How a hotel/inn could have such horrid beds is beyond me. My friend who stayed there said the exact same thing and stayed in a completely different room. Honestly, as a place to lay your head that's why my rating is low. We almost drove home in the middle of the night (only to Denver) because we were not getting ANY sleep. Otherwise, this charming and thoughtful place would be a return visit many times for us. The cute patio out front, the breakfast and snacks, coffee, kombucha, the location, all lovely. I loved the keyless entry concept. When our room was ready, we received a text and an email with a code to the front door, as well as a code to our room. Such an easy process! Upon entering, our room looked and smelled fresh and clean. The decor was spot on with the vibe of the inn. My bf and I were thrilled with our room, and we kept commenting on how much we want to have a bathroom like the one in the Serenity

The Dove Inn, in Golden, Colorado, is such a cute remodeled 1866 Victorian mansion! They didn't spare any details; the restoration combined the right amount of modern and vintage. The Dove Inn is the perfect place if you want to stay in a little town outside of Denver. And with just over an hour's drive, you can find yourself in Rocky Mountain National Park or at some of the other amazing State Parks in the area! The Dove Inn is right off of Main Street in Golden, and it is so easy to walk to dinner! There are so many great restaurants to try while visiting! The Inn is very clean

If you are looking for a charming inn with excellent amenities in an amazing location between the city and the mountains, this is the spot. We had such a fun time on this Colorado staycation. We slept well, drank delicious coffee, took advantage of the kombucha and pastries for breakfast and never wanted to leave! Plus the check in and check out processes were so easy and the staff so lovely!

This place is AMAZING. Before we had even left, we were planning a trip back. The location is perfect. Right in downtown Golden, walking distance to any restaurant, brewery or shop you could hope for but nestled on a quiet street.
The space is gorgeous. They thought of everything. From the fully stocked kitchen with cold brew, kombucha and tasty breakfast treats (with GF options) to the luxury bath products. Wow - this hotel was amazing! I stayed in the Aspen Suite and didn't really realize how luxury this space was until I got there. Check-in felt very "air bnb" with a code to enter the front door and also directly into your room; private and low fuss.

I had the privilege to stay in the Serenity suite May 2-6. My time there was absolutely wonderful and I can honestly say that I have never stayed at a nicer
hotel/Inn than the Dove Inn in my entire life. Every aspect was wonderful, from the beautiful decor, ultra comfortable

I travel often for work and decided to stay at the Dove Inn for a mini-weekend getaway and it's one of the best decisions I've made since moving to Denver. To put it simply, this is not only a staple of Golden, but in my opinion all of Colorado.
To start, it's so quaint and low-key that you barely even notice it's not just a beautiful neighborhood house that's located centrally to downtown Golden. We recently came here for a mini "staycation" and fell in love with the place. The details are really what makes this place so unique. They did a great job remembering the age of the house and keeping true to that. You can see all sorts of cool antiques throughout.
The whole process of checking in is completely automated which makes it super convenient. You get a code to the front door and your room so when you get there you can just go straight up to your room.
My favorite part was easily the bathtub! Not all of the rooms have bathtubs so make sure the one you're staying in

I will never not stay here when I'm visiting Golden. The MOST gracious owners and staff, generous kitchen offerings (like, kombucha draft and fresh fruits and cheeses available to you all of the time) and beautiful rooms and furnishings. It's literally at the center of all of Golden, so no need to drive anywhere. Sigh, take me back.
