A group of us are in town from Reno for the 4th, just had dinner at The Rio Thursday night. We walk by and a well dressed doorman, MJ I believe it was, gets our attention and invites us in. We decline initially but he invited us back for Friday and Saturday explain their nights. Offered us a drink to just go check it out so we accepted. Very pleasantly surprised at the vibes and the high end venue; So we visited twice again Friday and Saturday which we actually had enjoyable nights there. Great bouncer staff and our cute waitress was awesome as well as Ryan our bartender.

Disappointed would be an understatement. Unfortunately, our "stay" didn't happen. I eagerly booked with Nativ months in advance, however, when we showed up for check-in... they were literally confused as to why we were even there since, "Our books are empty"? Unorganized. Unprofessional. Unfriendly. After pulling up my confirmation email that still included my credit card information from our reservation were we finally informed they were / are doing renovations and they were CLOSED? Not once were we informed of these changes in the months they had to inform guests? Traveling from 15 hours away

If you stay there and expect the things in your room to work, they won't. When you ask the front desk to fix the things that don't work, they won't. When you check out, and ask if anyone was made aware of the room issues, they will say yes, and that a manager will be in touch with you. They won't be. I called in a mo th after my stay, since I was waiting for management to call me, and there were no notes for my stay, and they had no idea about anything. Your money can be used at better places.

We stayed at the Nativ "hotel" from September 22nd-26th and it was the worst mistake we made on this trip.
We were met at the front desk with a new manager and new front desk girl who instead of charging my credit card $100 for "incidentals" (it doesn't mention any of this on their website or at the time of payment) they charged my card $800. Immediately they realized their mistake and apologized and "voided" the charge

Wife and I stayed here back in mid may of 2020. At first I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness at all as I arrived extremely late at night. However upon discussing the issue with management they took care of us right away at no extra expense she did a great job in taking care of us. I can't recall her name but great job to the floor manager.

We found hair on our towels, spiders in the room, the portable AC unit was terrible. Some lights didn't work, no blow dryer, paint chipping on the walls, hair on the walls in the shower. The ice machine doesn't work, so we had to go all the way down to the lobby and ask the front desk lady. She then would go all the way downstairs to get ice. No food service available. The front desk attendant would leave everyday at 945-10 so after that we would be there by ourselves with no help. The outside patio furniture was covered in ash marks and dirt. Clearly hadn't been clean in forever

We prepaid. When I get there, they tell me I have to pay a service fee twice what the booking states. Okay, fine.
They double charged my debit card for the full amount of the stay. My bank can't do anything until the transaction goes through. That could take 3 days.
I am stuck 1300 miles away from home with no money thanks to them. To try to make up for this, I received a red plastic cup half filled with champagne.
I'm not asking for money from anyone here. I'll be okay.
Please boycott them and spread the word. All I wanted was for them to make it right

Do not support this business. They can not pay employees and have went to court several times over failure to pay. The managers are constantly strung out on drugs and drinking while in the hotel helping guests. After the employees wait months for checks they then send messages stating you have a three hour window to pick them up and force them to sign an agreement to only cash them at said bank and cannot deposit them. They convince clients to open tabs at the bar and then purchase drinks and food for themselves under it. There is 100 other hotels in Denver I highly recommend not supporting such

Centrally located in downtown Denver guaranteed no convenient parking, and I hoped that was going to be the only inconvenience. Besides the usual club sounds going off on the weekend: housekeeping was really slacking, our room was reminiscent of a rehab room with only the bare necessities (no alarm clock, no microwave, and not enough clothes storage), and a very subpar balcony.

UPDATE! By the end of my stay I was treated SO WELL by the staff that it's completely upped my expectations of how well hotels should treat their guests. Their event manager Shawn helped my girl friends and I have a wonderful time at the night club with a private booth. We had such a great time there! We were also staying on the 3rd floor and could only faintly hear the nightclub when we went to sleep.

Boutique Hotel in Lodo and near Coor Fields. This is not family friendly, so leave the kids behind because there is no parking and the hotel is also a local nightclub.
The Nightclub and Things to Note:
1) This ain't NY or LA, but VIP books available.
2) Plenty of space and Bartenders for Private Events
3) Decent DJs
4) Limited Beers on Draft. This is Denver!
So I should preface that I have never been here unless it was a private event - so I have no real first hand knowledge on the general club scene w/o a private event beforehand.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. We were really looking forward to a wonderful stay in a fun, artsy Denver hotel on New Year's Eve. We booked nearly 3 months in advance, only to receive an email 2 weeks before our scheduled stay telling us that they had overbooked and were unable to accommodate us.
After trying several times to get ahold of a manager on shift, I was told that managers are seldom available to take phone calls.
The hotel also remained on google search saying that they STILL HAD availability for New Year's Eve. Have caution when booking here that you may loose

This is the most disappointing experience in overall hospitality. I stayed here for a business trip and when I checked into my room, there were left over banners from a birthday or bachelorette party Still attached to the wall, stains all over the chair, and a huge gash in the wall. Completely unacceptable. I mentioned this to the woman at the front desk and acted as if I was inconveniencing her and was rude and unapologetic. No offer to get me a new room, they would just send the maids back in to clean it.
When I checked out, they charged

The new menu and energy of the people is amazing! I've been down here for lunch and to work from the hotel lobby. I've stayed in the hotel. I've come for social time in the evening. I've even come for a cup of coffee from the coffee bar, Molecule Effect, in the lobby.

Here to visit our kids and walked a few blocks to Coors Field.
Great restaurants and bars within a 7-iron.
The place is super cool. Very eclectic and modern. They are in process of finishing bar and grill, but no worries as like I said, so much around.
The rooms were spacious and bathrooms and shower were AWESOME.
Loved the streaking tile look. A complete view into the shower. Loved it.

We enjoy these smaller boutique hotels. They are hip, funky & fun. The downside is usually the rooms are small, short on amenities, & expensive.
Nativ's had a lot of bad reviews in the past due to the popular nightclub they usually host in the lobby. Right now they are undergoing renovations. It appears they are working to become a more legit overnight establishment & less of a Saturday night hot spot.
Our room was clean & stylish with vaulted ceilings, & large comfy king size bed. I was surprised to see a mini fridge you can actually use yourself & also surprised
