Dr. Neuman attended the University of Minnesota, graduating from this fine institution with her degree in vet medicine in 2004. Since then, she has honed her interests and specializes in a variety of areas of vet care.

Dr. Neuman received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2004. Her special areas of interest are emergency medicine, internal medicine, and endocrinology, with an emphasis on client-oriented services. In her long ago life, she was a writer, a customer service agent and even managed a movie theater.
Along with her technician duties, she is also one of our technician trainers who provides knowledge and expertise to our new employees. Amanda is a graduate of the veterinary assistant program at Pima Medical Institute and says she continues to learn something new every day. She shares her home with two very fluffy dogs named Boo Boo and Sprocket, and her cat Clarence.
Danielle Martino was raised in New Jersey, then relocated to Sedona, then Tucson in 2010. Not only is she the trainer and manager of our client services department, but she is also a veterinary assistant. Danielle graduated from the Carrington College Veterinary Assistant program in 2011. When she is not at work she is spending time with her daughter, and two, four-legged family members: Dolce and McNabb.

I boarded my dog here for two days and he came back with the worst separation anxiety he has ever had. I’m almost positive he sat in a kennel alone for the weekend with minimal time with anyone. When we came to pick him up, the woman working at the front desk was beyond rude to us when she greeted us. I guess it was an inconvenience to her that she had to do her job. It also took 5-6 phone calls to even get a call back. I’ll never board my dog here again nor would I use their vet services.

It's never easy to say goodbye to your beloved family pets. At Dove Mountain Veterinary they provided us with a separate tranquil room so that our dog felt at ease so we could take our time in saying goodbye to him. He was not anxious or scared which meant a lot to us. The Vet and staff were kind, patient and compassionate during this difficult time.

I had a slight emergency called at 7:30 am on a Saturday and they were able to take our pup in at 12:30 same day. Needed to get sutures and sedated for a cut. What I appreciated was they told me appx what the cost would be when I called.( which others would t even dare give me a estimate) as well my regular vet was not open on a Saturday . I truly appreciate the awesome service and great customer service. As well didn't mind having to pay what I thought was reasonable pricing for the great same day service. Keep up the great work!

I would recommend this vet to all of my friends and family. My baby pug Butters was in an emergency situation. Taylor, at the front desk got me in within 24 hours, even though they were booked out for weeks. Dr Horton and Amanda were the vet and tech that saw her. They were just as helpful and professional! We were going to another vet in town. They were awful. Always rushed. Charged for everything. I went to Dove when my Pom broke his leg and they worked with a traveling surgeon. They have been amazing. Answering all my questions. Getting back to me and trying to figure things out when I was traveling out of state and needed more meds. They have an amazing app that you can order prescriptions or ask questions and it tracks the history. They seem to be women owned and run but not sure. They are friendly and seem to care. I love them. Thanks Dove for being so incredibly wonderful during this very hard

We waited more than 8 hours outside to see an emergency vet in the middle of a snowy time ... they kept telling user were next ... after 8 hours we were told it could be at least 7 more hours ! we left without our dog being seen we went to our regular vet the next day ... I would never think of going there again in an emergency or not ! so rude as we were not even allowed to go in to use the bathroom !

I have recently taken my sick cat into Dove Mountain veterinary and have been so impressed with their service. They are on time, give accurate assessments, are friendly and very informative. I have been very pleased with the whole staff including Dr. Swanson and Dr.Carpenter who have taken their time explaining the treatment, without rushing. Everyone goes above and beyond what they have to to help.

We brought our poor pup who had been hit by a car while we were on vacation in. The entire staff is so kind and you can tell that they care immensely about your pets. The doctor is absolutely wonderful and made sure to show us how to treat his wounds confidently. She cared so much about how he felt and made sure that we were comfortable as well. It's so refreshing to find such a wonderful clinic close to home. The costs were extremely affordable and there is no where else I would trust to care for my boys.

I started bringing my pup here when we moved into a house just a couple minutes away, so about three years now. I have been really happy with the staff and services. I've brought my dog for annual exams, vaccines, teeth cleaning, and a couple one-off issues. Everything has gone quite smoothly. I find the prices reasonable, but I admit I've only gone to one other vet prior. I thought the teeth cleaning would be astronomical, but it was only $400 for the anesthesia and everything. I guess I was expecting more based on what I've heard from fellow dog owners.

I don't know where to start! This clinic is wonderful. I had a situation with My dog on a Sunday and did not have the funds to attend a emergency clinic. I called all the other clinics that we're open on Sunday and Dove Mountain veterinary is the only clinic that would even listen to what I had to say. They told me given the situation they would be able to squeeze me in without a problem. Due to the current circumstances we were not allowed in the office but the quality of care still provided was immaculate.

In an emergency yes, otherwise no. I'm extremely disappointed in my visit yesterday. They did amazing with social distancing and also were very kind. My problem is with pricing. I have a dog that needed a dental and three teeth looked pretty bad on the top front. I agreed to a blood draw and was given a quote of $518-$948.80 for a teeth cleaning (minus the $90.25 for the blood draw.). The thought of possibly paying almost a $1,000 for a teeth cleaning is truly amazing. I just could stomach the "what if," that's the bill tomorrow when I go to pick him up? Yes three teeth

Absolutely loved this place! Everyone was so nice and kind from the girls on the phone to the vet. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone who has a fur baby. I went in for an urgent care visit and was in and out in no tome with everything taken care of and my puppy is healing and going much better!

After some pretty extensive searching for a place that didn't have horrible reviews like some had (especially the affordable ones), we eventually found Dove Mountain Veterinary

We have three doggos and have been to Paws, VCA, and Pet Doctor. We will stay with Dove Mountain Vet because the doctor's hours are seven days a week and they're available up until 9pm. They understand that people work for a living and can't wait in line at a vet office on a weekday for 2-3 hours on a walk-in basis for vaccines. Dove Mountain also doesn't nickel and dime us for simple things like a Bordetella Vaccine visit. In addition, we recently had to take our old chihuahua in for a torn tendon and they didn't recommend him for an expensive/pointless X-Ray like other

The rescue that I adopted my puppy from recommended them. After using another vet on the north side of town, it's night and day for customer service, wait time and accommodations. I really liked Dr. Carpenter. She was thorough with her questioning and took the time to answer questions I had. I also appreciate they have online appointment making and they actually read them!

We usually go to Twin Peaks Vet, which is owned by the same as DMV. First time get our 7 month old Golden-doodle puppy groomed. Price was excellent and she was groomed well. Found a few spots of untrimmed hair on head and tail, which is probably a challenge itself, so no big deal. Was exactly what we were hoping for, couldn't be cuter. We will definitely be back. Thanks!
