The newly-renamed Holt & Holt Funeral Home was purchased by William and Mary Holt in 2017. The established location remains but considerable time and attention have been spent to improve the facilities. The Holt Family's focus is on unparalleled caring and compassionate customer service, while catering to families in the Boerne area.
Staff members of Holt & Holt Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. William is a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard with over 30 years' experience in the service industry.
Located in Boerne's Historic District, our updated facility adds a fresh look and feel to the quality of our service. The new enhancements include our remodeled and redecorated showrooms, hospitality rooms, arrangement conference room, chapel, baby room and even our offices. To better accommodate our families, we made the chapel more comfortable with cushions on the pews and added accommodations for wheelchair use.
The goods and services shown on our price lists are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.

Yesterday my wife had one of her most difficult days in making arrangements for her mother. We are so glad we found Holt and Holt funeral home. We shopped around in San Antonio and found out there was no compassion with the places we called. Everyone one sounded scripted and wanted to push sales on us. William was compassionate and so easy going with the whole process he put us at ease which is so important at a difficult time.

They have a beautiful funeral home, updated and fresh. They commissioned a local artist to paint a mural on all four walls of their nursery, floor to ceiling with a Noah's Ark theme. It's FABULOUS and I'm sure they would love to show it to you.

My father passed away this summer after a battle with cancer. My parents moved from Leon Springs to Comfort in the middle of his illness. When he came home on hospice, we finally started looking into funeral homes nearby and settled on Vaughan's based on word-of-mouth reviews from friends in Boerne.
