Porter Loring Monuments
The concept of "family" guides everything we do. We are San Antonio's most experienced family-owned funeral home, operating under the same family management since 1918. Our family, including our compassionate, professional team members, have created a legacy of caring for families as if they were our own.

We believe that caring as a family means going beyond funeral services. Through the last century, we have grasped the importance of being there for our San Antonio families at every stage of the process. We offer pre-planning resources, catering, personalized cremation and burial ceremonies across all military branches, religions, and cultural traditions.
Services
Porter Loring Mortuaries has been serving the San Antonio area community for many years. We are thankful to be an important part of this community and will continue our longstanding legacy of helping families honor their loved ones. In writing about its history, a company may find it tempting to create its own "philosophy" in line with popular trends or current values.
We strive to make our funeral home feel like a second home to our families. Our facility has the features to give your family the best services possible, and we hope that it brings you comfort during your time of need. Large chapel with seating for about 250, a foyer for standing overflow, and a large TV screen for video presentations.
Since 1918, Porter Loring Mortuaries has been a trusted and professional part of the San Antonio community. Through four generations, our staff has shown our families the upmost respect and care when it comes to our services. We are looking for positive and motivated individuals to join our over 100 years of service to the area.
After the funeral service, many families reach out to express their gratitude for our support and guidance during one of the most difficult times in their lives, and we're honored to receive their positive feedback. These messages speak for themselves, so we want to share them with you. If you feel we've met or exceeded your expectations or just want to say thanks, please contact us or submit a testimonial below.
Below is some helpful information to help you get started, but please feel free to contact us with any questions. When a loved one dies at home or somewhere that isn't a healthcare facility, you'll need to contact emergency personnel before they can be taken into our care. If your loved one was under medical care, you should call their physician as well.
