Psoriasis is a chronic disease. It develops when a person's immune system sends faulty signals that tell skin cells to grow too quickly. New skin cells form in days rather than weeks. Skin cancer is the most common form of human cancers, affecting more than one million every year. Most Mohs patients have a common type of skin cancer like basal cell carcinoma (BCC) or squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).

While it's important to wash your face, washing too many times a day can irritate your skin, causing new breakouts. Are you faithfully treating your acne but still seeing new breakouts? Your skin care routine could be to blame. If you wake up to find a few large pimples on your otherwise clear face, you may consider that severe acne.

I thought she was good until she pretended to give me a steroid shot in a pimple. A week later I still have this ugly pimple 😒

It is amazing how you can call a medical professional's office, only for them to tell you that your potential NEW PATIENT's condition that you do not even know about is not an emergency. The receptionist sounded completely uneducated, and not to mention RUDE. Coming from someone who runs a large dental practice, maybe your doctors there should invest in training you in customer service. You just lost a new patient, shame on you!!
