As far back as she can remember, Sharon has had an interest in Alternative Healing. She began her career in this field as a massage therapist in 1981. Her initial training began in California where she studied massage and energy healing at The Massage Center School of Professional Bodywork in Palo Alto, California.
My esthetics career spans 30 years and three continents. My passion for merging botanical alchemy with European aesthetic techniques was recognized by the International Pytobiodermie team early in my career; I was invited to train estheticians across the United States in the deeper subtleties of skincare.
I was drawn to the field of Chinese Medicine because of its strong link to the natural world and the laws that govern it. I believe the Taoist concepts of balance, harmony, and dynamic equilibrium are as evident in our own bodies as they are in the environment that surrounds us. This approach to the workings of the human body spoke to me in a way that the traditional Western medical view of the body could not.
