Ms. Dancewear was founded in the summer of 1996 to provide the dance community with a wide selection of dancewear and dance shoes for all persons regardless of age, size or proficiency. We have now included some cheerleading, gymnastics and ice skating apparel along with accessories of every type.

I went to return a pair of hiphop shoes I bought from this store 3 weeks ago. Shoes have never been worn as they’re for a recital. The requirement for black hiphop shoes changed so we had to get a different pair elsewhere. I didn’t have a receipt but I showed the salesperson my bank’s transaction showing the name of this dance store, date and amount $$$ I paid to them. No refund nor return was made because the store’s system can only handle ones with receipt. It’s 2021 but this place is stuck in the dark ages. Buyer beware.

The selection is quite good, and the staff is very helpful. My complaint is the changing room - 3 things... the area is dark. They could upgrade the lighting in each stall and at the changing room area. They should put mirrors in each stall. And the curtain should be easily fixed to actually close, for better privacy.
