She immediately inspired confidence with a thorough, professional approach to taking over our occupied property. A Better Choice Real Estate leased a house in my neighborhood for rental for a few years. During this time, the tenants threw loud parties from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., during our county's quiet hours. Police were involved several times and the owner and A Better Choice were informed. In fact one of the parties got so out of hand, a drunk houseguest climbed my fence and attempted to get inside my door. The employees of A Better Choice Real Estate lack the communication necessary to run an effective business. Emails and calls will go unanswered. During my year long lease the maintenance process was disjointed, they expected the house to be professionally cleaned prior to move out, and lacked follow through on requests being made. The house was not cleaned or painted upon move in, but we abided by all lease terms, cleaning included, still there were several hundred dollars in fees taken from our deposit with no explanation on what the fees were covering after multiple requests. I own a town-home and the unit next to mine is an investment property that Rose's company manages. Rose placed a VERY sketchy tenant in the property next to mine. I REPEATEDLY informed Rose that there were numerous issues with the tenant: 1) the tenant throws loud and raucous parties that disturb other community members, 2) the tenant is subletting the unit, 3) the tenant is discourteous to the community, and 4) the tenant is storing 4 - 6 vehicles on our property at all times and takes up the majority of the guest parking. I would suggest more thorough screening of their tenants. I live nearby a property that they manage and they have a history of leasing to problem tenants who are disruptive, disrespectful and non compliant to rules. Their tenants make me feel uncomfortable living in a home that I pay mortgage on. Just last Sunday at 6:45 AM I was awakened by 10 people gathered in the driveway speaking loudly. The night before I was awakened by teenagers on the patio playing loud music way past 1 AM. Not only are the tenants loud and obnoxious but there are too many of them living there to count. I can confirm that A Better Choice Real Estate is unethical, untruthful or deceitful, unprofessional, and unbelievably rude and disrespectful. Run quickly from any property they manage, and don't believe anything they say or promise. I have never experienced any company, anywhere, that is as fully dysfunctional, irresponsible, and unaccountable as (owner) Rose Vincent's "A Better Choice Real Estate" has proven themselves to be. The process of renting with this company has been great from the beginning, for me! I was a nervous wreck during the whole process because I don't like moving and it just makes me uneasy but Rose and Patsy answered all of my questions and were very patient with me. The property we are renting is just beautiful and in very good condition. I would highly recommend using A Better Choice Real Estate for any of your rental needs!

I rented a property for ten (10) years. Any problems I had (not many) were handled quickly and efficiently. When my A/C broke on Friday late in the day (ugh) Rose had someone there by the next day to fix it (not an easy thing to do on a hot August weekend).
When I moved out, as per my lease, I had the carpets and the entire place professionally cleaned - it looked almost as good as the day I moved in. Rose promptly returned my entire deposit.
I cannot say enough about Rose and her team - totally professional. Thanks again for 10 years of great service.

RENTER BEWARE! If you rent a property from this company they will treat you like you own it. They expect you to upkeep the property and even make you pay for pest control. They charged us $225 for a deep clean of the property but when we moved in it reeked of curry and they promised us to get it out but they didn't. We spent a lot of money to just have a decent quality of life while living in this property and we never got reimbursed for anything. Avoid renting from this company at all costs because they will find ways to keep your deposit and make you pay for things they should be paying for.

I have read the previous reviews and wish I could agree with the pleasant experience previous people have posted, but I can not. I was a tenant at a house I absolutely loved with great neighbors in a great neighborhood. I was renting, moved into the house, and treated it as my own. However, there were numerous maintenance issues that were not addressed in a timely manner, or not addressed at all. For example, there was a leak in the washer where water flooded the basement, and the plumber did not come to look at it until 1 week later. There was multiple leaks in the roof that NEVER got repaired
