Highland Refrigeration

Highland Refrigeration is a privately owned industrial refrigeration company founded in Seattle in 1999. We set our goals to design and build the most efficient refrigeration systems, using components of highest quality standards available worldwide using our many years of experience. We sell single components or complete refrigeration projects, containerized or prefabricated refrigeration systems.

We offer 24 hours, 7 days a week service and parts response. Highland Refrigeration is prepared to service all kinds of industrial and marine refrigeration systems, and offer onboard and land-based installation, service, and supervision. Our Service Team is trained in NH3, Freon, and CO2 and our lead technician has more than 30 years of experience.

Our years of experience allow us to design the most efficient ice maker systems, whether it's flake ice or slurry ice, using fresh or seawater for production. We use air cooled, self-contained units for systems up to 12,000lbs/24hr of flake ice production. For larger ice production systems up to 22,000lbs/24hr of capacity, we combine several components in a compressor skid, mounted in a stainless steel base frame.

We are experienced in working with different types of chillers, both plate & frame and shell & tube designs, utilizing various mediums including glycol, water, brine solution as well as refrigeration seawater systems. Our chillers come as a single component or as a complete system for easy field installation.

We design blast freezer systems in batch type, continuous type, straight belt or spiral type with a production range from 1,000 lbs/24hr to 500,000 lbs/24hr. We can install them at your production facility or inside containers. Containerized blast freezer systems have proved to be an excellent option for our customers with limited production floor space.
