Laurie Myers Yoga
Whether this is your first time here, or you've been off your mat for a day, week, or the past year we're filled with gratitude to assist you in your practice. You've taken the right first step. I opened this studio with apprehensive beginners in mind: an intimate space that offers a safe, clear and uncluttered environment to begin your yoga practice.

My very first class was with Laurie, and to this day her classes leave me feeling rejuvenated and having a better connection with my body. It is because Laurie's encouragement that I kept coming back to class, proving that a big guy like me can practice yoga. I've practiced with Laurie for over 5 years now.

I was in recovery from an eating disorder that had ruled my life since I was a teenager. A dear friend kept encouraging me to "take a yoga class, take a yoga class, you'll love it". It took me a year but I finally went to one. I loved it for all the reasons that people initially come to yoga. However, the one thing that made it truly transformational was that it allowed me to drop my armor.
Thoughtfully sequenced poses, that build on one another, to strengthen and open the range of motion in your body. Classes are designed for a full, complete, well rounded experience. Beginning | we typically start on the floor with a centering practice and beginning/introduction poses for what's to come later in the class.
Thai yoga massage is a deep, full-body treatment that begins at the feet and ends at the head. Using a sequence of gentle, flowing movements, your body is moved, loosened and stretched in order to increase muscle flexibility, joint range of motion and move energy throughout your body.

You'll be guided through a series of yoga-like stretches (all done on the floor) as well as a combination of abdominal work, breath cues, massage, and application of pressure to specific points on the body. All sessions (aside from the 20 minute Quick Fix) are comprehensive, full body treatments that relieve muscular tension, improve circulation, and help promote total relaxation and stress reduction.
These special classes are designed specifically to help maintain mental wellbeing and optimal energy through stressful times. We will incorporate specific Kundalini kriyas (exercise sets) and meditations to purify our bodies and restructure the patterns of our minds. The experience will include sound therapy created by the healing vibrations of the Tibetan singing bowls to enhance deep relaxation.

I've known Laurie for years, and when I heard she was opening her own studio I was super excited. She is a humble and powerful person, full of knowledge and kindness. I love the space, and the teachers are great guides. Thank you for your passion for yoga and healing, your classes always leave me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated with new found perspective. I love this studio. It is small and intimate. There is a focus placed on slowing down and being present. It is by far the most spiritual yoga studio I have ever attended, which is exactly what I was looking for. We often take time to meditate, and Laurie will share poems, stories, or songs with us. It is evident that she takes the time and intention to prepare for a wonderful class each time. 💓

I have practiced with Laurie for nearly 10 years. She is one of the best educated and welcoming instructors I’ve ever had. Her style is pure, straight up yoga and mindfulness and she makes sure each student feels comfortable and confident in practice. I can’t recommend her enough.

I've been a yoga student & massage client of Laurie's for several years. When I first moved to Cleveland I found it challenging to find an instructor who I felt comfortable with. Laurie is focused on yoga fit to her clients from a physical and emotional perspective. She constantly inspires an environment where one can be themselves, with or without baggage coming in the door. Her expertise, thoughtfulness, and integrity will keep me coming back and referring to all I know. Thanks, Laurie!

Lovely, welcoming, cozy space with wonderfully accepting instructors. People of all ages, genders, and ability levels practice here. The room holds less than a dozen people so I'd definitely recommend booking online in advance and if you buy a pass you save a few bucks.

This yoga studio is filled with an openness and spirituality that is hard to match. The instructors are amazing and so in tune with the needs of all practicing yogis.
On the days I attend, I look forward to it more than any physical activity I participate in.
Namaste all day at Laurie Myers Yoga!

I've been practicing yoga with Laurie & have also been a massage client of hers for several years. As I reflect on my experiences with Laurie, I keep coming back to the word "real". Laurie is real. Her classes are real.
They are challenging both physically & mentally, to the level you are comfortable with. She doesn't ignore the stresses we all walk in with each day & doesn't only see the "zen" side of things as so many instructors do. Her expertise & ability to relate to her clients is outstanding & evident upon stepping one foot in the door

When I tell a yoga instructor I have physical limitations, I receive one of two reactions: 1- no big deal, 2- a face of pure terror and shock because they don't know what to do. Given that yoga is supposed to welcome all and good instructors should have some knowledge of modifications, I was thrilled Laurie was the "no big deal" route.

I can't say enough great things about Laurie. She's welcoming, has good energy and knew every student personally, which counts in my book. By the way she teaches, you know she is so passionate about what she does. She made me feel positive

Ahhhh I've been meaning to write a review for a while now! It's hard to express just how much Laurie and her business means to me.

I've been working with Laurie for over a year. After a friend recommended me, I started seeing Laurie for yoga (I was a beginner!), then for her 20-minute quick fix neck massages, and then more recently for her 45-minute Thai massage. She is so incredibly skilled in all the above and has a way of making her customers feel so warm and welcome. Whether I am practicing yoga or getting a massage, I can feel the stress LIFT off of me and I always leave in
