Rented bikes here for some pedaling around the area. Very helpful and friendly service and good recommendations on where to ride. No issues at all with the bikes - was actually pleasantly surprised how decent the bikes were for rentals. Will definitely be back!

Bought a new bike from New Hope Cycles in the last week. Great service from the whole team, with detailed final fit of the finished bike. They asked me to ride it for two weeks and bring it back for a fine-tune. Rode it for an hour and decided the fit was too tall. Took it in and they adjusted it immediately. This was my second time in the shop. The first time was last year when they bike-packed a bike to ship to my son in Utah and did a fantastic job. Really disappointed. They told me my bike would be no more then $50 and a week or less. It's been about a month I've called every week and the bike is still not done they finally told me I needed "new" parts and it would be about $150 without me knowing. If you go here make it clear what you want done and double check how long it will take!

Terrible service. Took a new bike in for a frayed brake cable. Three weeks in, no call bike is stilL mot ready. I called to find out what was going on and got nothing but attitude. After 3 weeks+ of no movement i was told that they're waiting for parts sso they can replace the cranks (and charge me) which had nothing wrong with them. Long story short, the bike went in for a very minor repair and almost a month later it's still not done and the shop is doIng work that they weren't asked to do just so they can charge me for it.

Rented 2 bikes for a day on the tow path along the river. The young fella helping us hooked us up with bikes that were just tuned and fit us perfectly. Solid experience, helpful, and easy to recommend them. Will be back next time in town. Thanks guys!

Great local cycle shop. I've used New Hope cyclery numerous times to tune and service my bikes. They are a Trek main dealer an have done some relatively complex repairs and upgrades. I have mountian, road and hybrid bikes. They have done a great job on all of them. Fully recommend.

I can honestly say that New Hope Cyclery embodies the small business experience! Great owner! Friendly, knowledgeable, and fast, all without any pressure for sales. I would recommend this bike shop to anyone that asks.

This is a great business and bike shop. I have so far bought two high end bikes here, and I have been fully satisfied in every respect. The service is absolutely the best! I needed a minor fix on a bike I recently bought, and Nick, the owner, came to my house (over an hour away in each direction) for the repair being that it was off season and had time available. I wouldn't expect him to be able to do that during the high season. I am definitely a perfectionist when it comes to my sports equipment both in its performance and appearance. This bike shop is awesome. We have purchased numerous bikes here for our children and have had all our bikes serviced here. They are great with our young kids and helpful with purchasing with regards to both sizing and ability for them. They have even helped me load up the back of my car with all the bikes. They also have a good in stock collection so we can always find what we need, from my girly girl to my rough and tough boy.

Went there for a minor part for my disc brakes. Nick was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Also needed to convert my bike from a tubed tire to tubeless. They took there time, called trek to see what exact liner i needed for my rims, and gave me some helpful tips. I will buy my next bike from Nick!

I went here because I needed only a helmet as I brought a bike for a friend and forgot an extra helmet. Person at the shop adjusted a helmet, made sure it functioned, gave to me on the honor system that I would return it the next day. A real, community bike shop. Awesome selection of clothes too.

I took my 3 1/2 year old son in to the shop to get his first peddle bike and the gentlemen were very helpful and patient to fit my son to his new bike. This is my second kids bike purchase from them as I bought my older daughters first peddle bike a year ago and experienced the same level of customer service. Keep up the good work guys.

Some of the worst service I have ever received. I took my bike here for a tune up, some specific things I had mentioned was that something seemed wrong with the headset, when stopping the front of the bike would jitter. Another thing I had requested was for the batteries in my speedometer be replaced. I asked for him to check out my rear breaks. Lastly I asked for him to adjust the gearing so it was a little more on point.

It looks like he adjusted the gearing slightly, the front gears shift a little better. It looks like he also cleaned the bike off a little. as part of the tune up he likely

Visited for the first time today. I truly had an awesome experience. The staff is super friendly and they are very knowledgeable. They were able to help me pick out what I was looking for and within my budget.

Super nice and helpful staff that help provide all you need for the day. Could communicate the operating hours better, and the procedure for after hours returns.
