Decor antiquated but clean. Issue is with cancellation policy. I've traveled extensively and most hotels have 24 hour cancellation policy. RENTER BEWARE!! Theirs is 72 hours, that's 3 days. My son had reservation for 2 nights and left after one during 4th of July weekend. I asked for a credit and had polite exchange with manager he said no exceptions. He never asked why..Truth be told my son had to drive my wife back home because she has cancer and was in terrible pain and could not drive herself. So if you have health condition which might cause you or family member to possibly leave early stay

My wife and I discovered Bay View last summer. We fell in love with Green Lake and the little city center by the motel walking distance only blocks away. Several great eateries, small shops. Public boat access as well as Bay View’s own boat launch, and convenient dock. So this Summer we decided to go all in, and we booked every weekend. We are half way through the Summer with no regrets. Cam is the most gracious host. He always greets you with a smile. Always ready to please. It is a quaint, clean motel well worth the value. There aren’t enough starts to fairly rate this Ten Star Motel ⭐️

The Bayview is vintage, but vintage in a way that the rooms have a solid quality! The manager goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable, the view from the rooms is amazing, and the beds are really comfortable. Clean, good service, good location and a solid booking website! Chic, retro, and reasonably priced Motel right on the lake. The like-new rental pontoon easily fits EIGHT people for five hours, with a Bluetooth stereo radio to cruise along Green Lake-which is seven MILES long with beautiful views. The manager (Cam) was SUPER helpful and friendly and patient. Highly recommend this place if you want to get away from it all with family or friends for a few hours or overnight!

Cam is the manager... He is excellent and super helpful. We have rented pontoon boats for the 4th of July weekend for many years -- Always clean and appear brand new! Easy access to the docks (easy/convenient even for those who have difficulty walking -- no stairs!). Nice boat ramp for our wave runners. The hotel is consistently great, super clean and classic. Perfect location and views. Thank you for many years of service to our family!! See you again soon.

Traveling through the area the eve of deer hunting season. EVERYTHING was booked in Montello, Coloma, Westfield. Eric at Acorn motel suggested we call Bill at the Bayview Motel. Bill had a room available! Clean, nice, large room, comfortable bed, nice HOT shower, with a view of the lake! TV was analog, but still worked great! Bill suggested dinner at Adam's Rib and breakfast at the Little Corporal! We'd stay again!
