Place was nice and clean! They even had a restaurant who serve breakfast and lunch, dollar store and gas station across which makes it a plus. We would definitely book again! Great Labor Day weekend!. It's very clean facility, fairly priced. They also offered weekly & monthly rate package! Great convenient locations close to Outdoor Activities such as biking, walking, skiing, horseback riding, Timber view activity trail & deer hunting site.

Can't comment on how the rooms are. The owner is nice. Our experience was not. The night receptionist is unbelievably unprofessional & inconsiderate. We depend on internet reviews to book rooms while we're traveling, The Hilltop got good reviews so we decided to give them a try instead of one of the chain hotels. I made the reservation & secured it with our credit card. I explained we would be a late check in, probably 7:30-8:00pm. The owner ASSURED me that was not an issue. We arrived at 7:30. No lights were on...at all! We drove right by the place! We turned around, only to find the office door

Not any problem with running later than planned. Owner took me to #10, unlocked room and turned on light...answered all my questions. Bright and early next morning cheerful owner getting a vehicle moved so two of us could back out and leave. Excellent breakfast at Hilltop Cafe on drive out and reasonably priced.

We checked in and came back later to put our stuff in there. I began to check the unit for cleanliness and bedbugs. We found what looked like a smushed bed bug on the bathroom door. I peeled back the bottom bed sheets and discovered this little guy.
I immediately requested a refund and left. The refund hasn't hit my account. I will update when it does.

Good trip down memory lane if you remember mom and pop type motels. Clean cute room. Hosts require masks at front desk.
Only minus is very thin walls - had to hear (and feel) a domestic abuse squabble next door, followed by a police and ambulance visit after midnight. I'm sure it's rare but it did show how thin the walls were. Turn ion the bathroom fan and use pink/white noise for better sleep.

Husband and I stayed here during a hunting trip. The Hilltop motel had the basic needs in a very clean room. There was a flat screen tv, fridge, microwave ,small table and chairs, etc. There was also a hair dryer in the bathroom which was a huge win for me as I forgot mine and was planning on hunting in negative temperatures. Besides the room, the owner was extremely nice from the beginning. I'd recommend this motel as a place to rest your head at night. May be back for upcoming ice fishing season.
