There are miles of well maintained cross country ski trails, and consider skating or snowshoeing. Lake Puckaway or Big Green Lake is only minutes from your room.
Join the fun all season long at the Princeton Flea Market. A destination in itself, Princeton's Flea Market is the largest outdoor flea market in Central Wisconsin. Enjoy a Saturday stroll in Princeton's City Park on Hwy 23 to browse through hundreds of vendor goodies. The treasures abound every week as new vendors enter the mix, so make it your weekly stop to find that long sought after item or just to get a tasty snack at the food stand.
Snowmobilers can ride right from our parking lot onto the well groomed trail system. The Green Lake area has some of the finest trails offered in Wisconsin. You will be able to ride a very diverse, scenic and well marked trail system here without the pressure and overcrowding found in other parts of the state.

When our tournament bass club is fishing Green Lake we try and schedule it around availability at the Acorn. The innkeeper Eric Johnson does a great job keeping the hotel clean and well maintained. It’s an older throwback roadside motel that been updated a bit and kept in fantastic shape. The rooms I’ve stayed in have two beds, a small refrigerator, coffee maker and plenty of room. Boat parking is easy here and the hotel is well located. If you don’t feel like unhitching the boat there are places in nearby Princeton that will deliver to the motel. The Acorn Ridge is definitely worth five

An absolute blast from the past! Minus the mounted flat screen TV, everything looked straight out of the mid 80's. Room has 2 full beds, coffee maker, small fridge, microwave and AC window unit. Eric the manager/owner was super nice and accommodating. Just fine for a couple days of golfing with the boys!
