Not sure if I just got a bad steak or what. The broiled shrimp, mashed sweet potatoes and drinks and staff were on point. But drove the distance to try the steak since that’s the claim to fame and was very disappointed. Tenderloin was med to med well rather than med rare and super Chewy. Honestly can get a tenderloin that’s 10x better at a local tavern nearby. Not sure if I just got a bad one or bad cook or what. Was super excited to try it and was left unhappy.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my in-laws anniversary and was greatly disappointed. For a restaurant that claims they are known for their steaks they really shouldn't be. They charge 25 dollars for a fillet tenderloin and let me tell you it was the worst steak I ever ate. It looks like a
fillet mignon but it is not that cut of steak at all. I believe it was a cheap chuck steak cut.It was super tough with 0 flavor. Thought I was biting into a shoe. Also make sure you pay in cash because if you use a debit card like most people do in this day and age they will charge you an additional

My family and I enjoyed our stay in the lodge rooms during my two-day stay. Quite dated rooms, but everything was clean and I loved having access to the beautiful beach area. I would definitely stay here again.
There is no 24/7 front desk, you need to check in at the restaurant after 4pm after the restaurant opens. My room had a mini-fridge and no microwave. The TV, WiFi, coffee maker, heater, and AC unit all worked fine. Plenty of stairs to get to the lodge rooms, but I think the building is old enough to have the lack of accessibility grandfathered in.

Great bar with a nice view of Silver Lake. Staff works hard in the busy bar on a Friday night. Of course, Brandy old fashion sweet is the drink of choice. The restaurant was busy and very loud as there were several large groups. Fried chicken and a lobster roll were the food choices we made and both were good and served in a reasonable amount of time.

This place used to be famous for steaks,but now it's like Zsa Zsa Gabor,really just famous for being famous. These steaks are average or less,no seasoning, and God forbid you ask for Au jus on any day but Saturday. The salad was less than impressive.
I'd say for the price I'd drive by. Most people in the local area say it's gone downhill,but I had to try it. Now I believe it.
Take a picture next to the big bull in front, then drive on. Give your money to a charity, you'll feel better

We have not been here in about 10 years & were disappointed with the restaurant food and food service.
We ordered the Prime Rib, Tenderloin steak & Pike.....just not the same the quality. The place could use some TLC in all areas (drab).
The bar did have good service & cocktails. You can also sit outside where they have tables to relax & enjoy drinks & some food.

Stopped in to pick up a gift card for a friend. We like to share our favorite places. Did not eat this night but sat down at the bar for drinks. Sue was working behind the bar, she did a wonderful job. She was fast and attentive to all the customers at the bar. Mixed some mighty fine drinks. We were happy with the quality and the price. Will definetly be returning again.

In my opinion, not a traditional supper club. No relish tray. Sorry, points deducted for that. Drinks are fantastic. Limited menu due to Covid which was a downer. Menu had no description of item, which was frustrating but the waitress was happy to help us.
Salad that came with my husbands fish fry was nothing but iceberg lettuce and one thinly sliced carrot. Other salads brought out to other people looked better.
Baked fish was good. Fried fish was good. Chicken... was flavorless. We brought it home to feed our dog.

A classic super club that should be frozen in ice and preserved forever.
We visited after skiing at Nordic Mountain. Had no expectations but quickly realized after pulling into the parking lot what we were about to experience.... Wisconsin lake living heaven!

We have been here before. Don't come early there is literally a stampede of grey haired ladies to get their dinner table at 5pm. Get their sooner or get trampled. Ha. For serious the food is amazing. These guys have been R the steak business longer than I have been alive. I had the broasted chicken and it was great. The waitress had every modification down and we were all satisfied. We purchased a bucket of the after dinner mints with us. Because they were so yummy after dinner we wanted more. No. I won't share!

The onion rings are some of the best I had. Light breading. Not overpowering. Good flavor. The Canadian Walleye is the same. It's about perfect and one of the highlights of the menu. Service was very friendly, but on this night a bit rushed. Good beer selection and the drinks were made well. You can get your typical brandy old fashioned and they are as sweet and syrupy as anywhere else. I opted for a sour, and it was good with the olive garnish. This place is not over the top or kitschy like pretenders. It's a good solid supper club and a good experience.

WOW! I've been coming up to this area for over 10 years. The first few years near Montello, my family and I would venture out to look for a good meal. Everything seemed overpriced and just did not meet any standards of a nice dining establishment. So... of course when a few friends talked about Silvercryst, I had my reservations. I'm so glad that I did not pass on this outing. Everything was terrific. They had reasonably priced kids meals and the menu items were delish! I had the crab legs for $26 and I could've shared them with another adult. The portions were huge! My

I do not often write reviews, but felt necessary based on this experience. A large group of our friends recently bought properties in the area. 5 of our group decided to venture out to Silvercryst on Saturday because we felt like having a good sit down dinner after a long day in the sun. We heard SilverCryst was the best, but I was really let down.
4 of our group ordered steaks. Everyone got Medium Rare. 2 of the 4 steaks were pretty bad, and more of a medium well. Tough, dry. One steak in the group got good reviews. The 5th ordered Chicken and loved it.

There isn't a relish tray or hollandaise sauce on the asparagus but you can see Silvercryst's supper club heritage.
Lunch is served from June through late August. My favorite: a gimlet or a gin and tonic and a Reuben sandwich with French fries and ketchup served at the bar.
Took me a few years to work my way through their menu; nothing I wouldn't hesitate to order again.
