It sounds simple enough: turn on the system, get the water going and you're ready to keep everything lush and green. However, there are some very important steps you need to take. If done incorrectly, you risk damaging pipes or system components.

Although our HOA hires another irrigation company to do work in our subdivision, I started to notice our plant and grass were drying up a couple months into summer and later found our sprinkler system was not turning on at all. The irrigation company should have turned us on but apparently they did not. Since this wasn't the first time this has happened, I called on Edgar and he met with me the next day. He took a look at our box and found the timer was never set. We also uncovered 2 broken sprinkler heads, even after I paid the other guys to fix two prior to turning us on - happens every year

We had a pipe break on our sprinkler system that caused a good amount of flooding. We called Black Mist and Edgar happened to be able to repair my issue only a couple hours after calling them. He was a life saver! Prices were very reasonable and extremely friendly service. Would definitely recommend!

Edgar, the owner of Black Mist Irrigation came out and turned our system on this Spring. His team fixed a broken sprinkler head and completely tested our system. Since then, I asked him to come back and upgrade the control panel to a new one that works off of our WiFi to determine when rain is coming to turn on / off the system. He is punctual, nice to work with and is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Black Mist Irrigation.

We purchased a home last March with a very old existing sprinkler system. Not knowing anything about sprinkler systems, I needed someone to get me started. Last May I ran across Edgar working on another home in our neighborhood. We set up an appointment, he got it running, fixed a couple of problems and we're in great shape. This year, after opening the system, I found I had accidently punctured a supply line. Edgar fixed it quickly and very reasonably. Black Mist is terrific to do business with. I have referred them to friends.

Chris and Edgar were great guys to deal with! I've been in business for myself my whole life and these guys have what it takes. Excellent service, courteous, former military, so very punctual and neat/ organized. They fixed a couple of sections in my home in Orland Park after my pool install ruined some areas. They did it perfectly and for a great price! Only guys I'll use from now on!!
