Services
When Mount Evans was founded 40 years ago, our motto was "Mountain people helping mountain people." It's who we were then and it's who we are now. We believe the patients and families who turn to us for help deserve extraordinary care. We serve the most frail, the most vulnerable and the most in need of our medical expertise.
Supporting Our Mountain Community with Compassionate and Experienced Care During Challenging Times. Whether you or a loved one have a new diagnosis, a terminal illness, a chronic condition, or a routine surgery. Even if we don't provide you with direct services, we can help you explore such issues as health care options and planning for long-term care, and we can put you in touch with the many community resources available to you.
We believe end-of-life care should allow patients and their families to focus on spending precious time with the ones they love. We want their days to be filled with as much love and as little pain as possible. We are committed to meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people in our mountain community who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Bringing healing and heart into your home is the mission of the Mount Evans Home Health Care team. Our professionally-trained, compassionate nurses, therapists, social workers and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) design and deliver customized care to meet your specific needs and help you feel safe, capable and confident.
Our goal is to help our patients live a meaningful life while they receive treatment for an illness. Here at Mount Evans, we noticed a gap between those who qualified for hospice care because they were close to end of life, and those with serious illness who were still actively seeking treatment.
In order to meet the needs of mountain residents diagnosed with cancer, heart disease, kidney failure, stroke, Parkinson's disease and more, we provide pain and symptom management, emotional care and spiritual support through our palliative care efforts.Palliative care helps to relieve the discomfort, symptoms and emotional stress of serious diseases.

Our experience with Mt Evans has been wonderful. During and after losing my mom a few months ago, they showed our family a deep sense of warmth and professionalism. Their team is kind, considerate, and repeatedly reach out months later, just to make sure we feel supported and have a grief network. I strongly recommend Mt Evans' services.

Called social services because my mother refused a nursing home. My mother had no dementia or other brain disorder. All she did was break her hip. Her mobility was limited but she was well cared for.
Mount evans therapist refused to acknowledge my moms wants. And instead called adult protective services.
Do not use this place if you value your family’s independence.

500 stars would still not be enough for the extrodinary service Mt. Evans Home Health Care & Hospice provided for my family. Moms time was short in the hospice program, but Terry and Janet were amazing. Terry the nurse was so responsive, she listened to mom and quickly made adjustments as needed when moms condition changed. Janet was an angel. From her care and understanding of our family dynamic, her immediate connection with mom, and helping with so much more than just making mom comfy and at peace (which she did an incredible job of) it was phenomenal. Even after her assistance with bereavement

It is my honor and pleasure to write a review for Heidi Terrell, my mother’s Occupational Therapist (OT).
From the moment she walked into our home, she entered our lives, again! Here is the background story:
I opened my mom’s front door and Heidi Terrell looked very familiar. She said the same to me. I asked her where she had worked prior to Mt. Evans Rehab. She said she was a Cardiac Care (CCU) Nurse at Porter Hospital. That was our connection!
My grandfather, years ago, had a leaking heart valve replaced with a pig valve. Heidi and our family all walked into his room right after his surgery

Mount Evans Hospice was a HUGE part of my parents' lives in the last months of Mommy's life. They were ALWAYS just a phone call away for reassurance, support, kind words and suggestions for keeping Mommy happy, healthy and comfortable during her final days. They were sympathetic to Daddy's needs, as well as mine. The staff of Mount Evans Hospice made it easier for me to breathe following Mommy's devastating diagnosis and prognosis. They were also there when Mommy passed away, supporting us and offering kind words. They are not just an organization to help people through difficult times, they are
