Dr. Homoky, originally from Highland, Illinois, has made his home in Port Charlotte. Dr. Homoky has taught at the Edison College Hygiene School in Florida and continues to train dental assisting students from Charlotte County Dental Assisting School providing clinical rotations at his office. Dr. Homoky is a dental implant instructor and mentor for Implant Seminars, the largest dental implant surgery training center in the country.
To help you be more comfortable and to promote healing we ask that you rest for the first four hours after surgery. You should avoid eating and drinking for that period to allow the clot to stabilize and local anesthetic to wear off. ICE: Use ice packs on surgical area (side of face) for first 4 hours, apply ice 20 minutes on and then 10 minutes off.
Our dental team believes that covering your cosmetic dentistry cost or financing your treatment should be easy. For patients without dental insurance: if you pay in cash at least a week before treatment, we will grant you a 5 percent prepayment discount. Front office great in making and booking appointments. billing my insurance and letting you know how much your share of the bill is your responsibility before the work is done.
Checked up with my doctor that did my hip replacement, to see if I needed pre meds before any dental work.
I’ve never been more pleased with the service and treatment that both my husband and I received throughout the entire procedure.

I’m terrified of the Dentist just walking in cause’s may heart to race. Not this place everyone is sweet and caring. They talk to you like a friend, and show you everything on the screen above you while laying in the chair. I felt so relaxed the hole time I was there.. Take a chance you won’t regret it..

I'm not one that likes going to dentist. I guess I've had bad experiences when younger. I'm paying for that now. I have to say that Homoky Family Dentistry is the BEST EVER!!!!! Everyone there greeted me! I was still scared couldn't calm down, on top of the pain I was in. After talking with everyone there the Dr. came in and talked to me he was very calming to listen to him. It was a consultation visit. After listening to the Dr I calmed down a bit and he pulled the problem out. His one assistant Ashley sat next to me and talked with me and just wanted to make sure I was OK. She also got me a blanket

Finally, a dentist office where I can get my teeth cleaned thoroughly & a dentist that is down to earth. One that doesn’t try to sell me on a bunch of unneeded things & a reasonable price quote for the services that I do need. Plus no virtual dentist nonsense, where he/she are located in Tampa or Miami. Everyone here seemed to be nice people & a well run office.

I had not been to a dentist since retiring. My medicare + insurance for dental seems to not be liked by most dentists so I called 8 different dentist offices before I found Homoky. The staff was welcoming and OK with my insurance but it only pays for preventative maintenance. From now on I am going regular so he can catch things early. Much cheaper that way. My Homoky experience was a good one especially since they had to squeeze me in. You won’t be disappointed.

My whole experience has been nothing short of amazing! From my 1st call to the office to make my courageous step towards my dental experience to my most recent visit I have felt so at ease with the entire staff. The procedures I endured for me personally were life changing but all for my well being and a healthy new smile and life...I have and continue to HIGHLY recommend this dental office and staff! Dr. Homoky is fantastic and I never have had pain..I am for the record a huge chicken and am scared to death of the dentist..until now...
