Founded by a father and son, J. Walton Hill JR and John W. Hill III, in 1974, Factory Mattress and Bedrooms has a long history of serving the Carolinas in the home furnishing industry. The first location of Factory Mattress opened in March of 1974 on East Independence Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This store is great and good customer service! Plenty of mattresses to choose from and the shopping experience couldn't have been easier. Our "Sleep Specialist" Anthony took time to answer all our questions and concerns. He really knows mattresses inside and out, and he lets you check out all your options without pressure.
Factory Mattress offers a price guarantee that if you find a lower price on a comparable model from a local competitor we will beat that price. You must bring in that company's ad or have the price and product written down on that company's brochure or business card. We don't match web based prices.
Buyers have the experience of picking out models at the manufacturer's showroom that will give you the most features and benefits. Get more bang for the buck!. Name brands have manufacturing facilities located throughout the United States in order to service your warranty wherever you may move. Name brands are known to very strict specifications and guidelines in manufacturing their mattress sets.
An uncomfortable mattress is the worst. Tossing and turning all night isn't how anyone gets their beauty sleep. Even more frustrating is the "one size fits all" mentality when it comes to mattresses. We bought an Serta memory foam mattress with a 10 warranty from this company. After less than 2 years it caused us pain because it lost form. But it wasnt enough for this company to make a warranty claim. 5 years later it finally fell into warranty compliance. But its been over a month and we still havent received our new mattress. They keep blaming covid and claim serta randomly sends them mattresses and partial shipments. And whatever other excuses they can think of. Somehow my mattress doesnt make these shipments. I asked the guy today to see if its come in. After 5 minutes of being on hold
