Due to the high cost of credit card fees, we highly appreciate CASH and CHECK payments, but we do happily accept all major credit cards as well. We do our appointments by day instead of time, meaning we ask all our customers to please have their car to us by 9:00 am the day of their appointment. We open at 8:00am each day.

Things are tough nowadays. Supply chain problems, the virus, work problems and then the car goes wonky.
Yeah Hotchkiss needed the car another day but in the end it was fixed.
The customer-relations woman kept me up to date on what was happening and the mechanic repaired the Focus when the parts came in from out of state.
If things are tough on us, imagine how tough they are for the people we ask to fix our problems.

In 2020 my local auto shop noted a small oil leak and suggested Hotchkiss Auto Repair to do the diagnostics on where the leak was coming from. In late summer 2021 I made an appointment to visit. After Hotchkiss steam cleaned my engine (their recommendation) they told me to drive my car for several weeks and return. Upon my return the diagnosis was a couple of minor oil leaks with the advice to continue watching the leaks. My bill was less than $100. So when was the last time an auto repair place you were using recommended NOT to do any additional work? I'll return soon to have Hotchkiss experts

These guys are awesome! My family and I have been coming to them for years, and especially love how they will only do repairs that are necessary and make sure that we're always very informed as to what we're spending our money on. Oftentimes they let us about upcoming repairs that will be needed in the future so we can start saving and planning for it and very rarely get caught off guard with needed repairs. Great work guys, thanks for all you do.

The service is always fantastic here! It is an honest and reputable shop, and won't over sell you on things you do not need. Will has worked on multiple vehicles for me and my family and his work is always spot on. This shop is very busy, but they always stay in communication and finish the job in a timely manner. Definitely recommend them to all that need any repairs.

What an honest auto repair shop! I brought my car in for a brake inspection and an alignment. Life happened and I was running late. Thomas was so nice and accepted my car after closing. He fully explained what his team will do tomorrow and how I will be updated.
Another shop said I needed brakes ASAP. This repair shop said other wise. They informed me I have a lot more life on my brakes and didn't see the need to change them. Such a great staff and amazing communication!

Nikki was my Service Writer. She was professional, courteous, and timely. I brought the vehicle in for an oil change and full vehicle inspection, including checking manufactures recommended 120,000 mile maintenance. She let me know up front what the cost for the oil change and inspection would be then let me know that they would contact me with any maintenance they recommended. Turns out the car is in really good shape, didn't recommend anything I didn't need or wasn't actually due; only suggested a few minor things that I already knew needed attention. I've taken my vehicle in 3 times now and

Both my husband and I have used this company for probably 7 years and I almost don’t want to write this review because it’s a little gem that I kind of want to keep to myself. Legit great people who care about your work. Honest and quality too. Honest prices. We actually moved to a not so convenient location to get our car worked on and still refuse to switch mechanics. Worth driving across town for!

L went in for a scheduled tune up this morning 3/31/21. l said good morning to one of the workers on my way in with no response😳. l then proceeded inside handed over my key and sat for 2 hours before being told that my car was 9th in line. l had a scheduled appointment! Needless to say I left and won't return. Do better hotchkiss👎👎👎

I was in town for a trip and needed an auto inspection before heading back to LA. Hotchkiss was incredibly considerate to fit me in last minute, in between work to inspect my car. Turned out I had a slash in one of my run flats and they were incredible to put in an order and replace the tire the following day. I can't say how grateful I am that they were so kind, professional and affable throughout the entire experience. I will most definitely be recommending them to my friends in Denver.

I have been taking my last two BMW Z4s to Hotchkiss for years, working with Tony. I had been previously going to Co's BMW in Loveland. They were very good, but I had moved to Denver downtown where the dealership doesn't get as good of reviews. I found Hotchkiss, and they have proven to meet my high expectations on quality of work, transparency, honesty, professionalism, prices, etc.
I really enjoy working with Tony and plan to continue to take all my vehicles to Hotchkiss and refer my friends to them for as long as they keep up the great work and I'm in the Denver area!

An honest auto repair shop; What a oddity. They quote you what it will cost before they do any work and the work that they do, addresses the issue.
Further, even if after you bring the vehicle in for repairs, if they cannot fix the problem, they (most often) will not charge you. How unusual is that in this industry of suspects?!

I will never take my car to any other place! The people who work here are the most honest, genuine folks I’ve ever met. My battery died late on a Friday and they were gracious enough to replace my battery with a moments notice! This is just a single example of their amazing customer service! There have been many more.
