This company tried to rip me off. Months and Months of ignored maintenance request. I can never get anyone to return my calls. Make sure to look up Ohio tenant laws because they do not follow them. If you paid anything upfront keep record as well as your communication with this company. This company is unprofessional and I AM DISGUSTED!

I rented from KRG for over a year in a studio apartment near campus. The apartment had bugs of all types that became increasingly bad, and at one point, a hole opened in the wall leaving in a stream of flying ants/termites. While maintenance was quick to fix the hole, it took multiple follow ups for an exterminator to come out to the apartment a month later. The exterminator was no help, and I found out later after a friend who works on houses visited that the walls were softening due to moisture and water inside, and this led to the hole opening in the wall and it was likely the cause of the bugs

I have been renting from them now for 5 months and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They are responsive, friendly and the quality of their apartments for the price is great. Any time I have had to put in maintenance request, it's completed within 24 hours. Would recommend this company to rent from.

We rented from there about 1.5 years and they seemed responsible until we got our final bill after moving out... when we moved in NOTHING was replaced or new since the previous tenant lived there.. which was fine considering I just needed a place ! BUT $520 for a range for over the oven (which was gross when we moved in!) then $600 for a new fridge was working just fine when we left and was never new when we moved in...

I’m trying to rent with KRG because they have a lot of reasonably priced properties, but the customer service is so poor. You can’t schedule a showing with them (every single landlord I’ve spoken with has been more than willing to work with my schedule on a showing). They will inform you there is a lock box on a door or the door is unlocked. 75% of the time this isn’t true (the door is locked, or the lock box isn’t there, and the lock boxes that are there are extremely old and hard to use) so you end up going to their properties and wasting your time. The properties are also run-down

Please take my advice and do *NOT* rent from them. They are the very definition of slumlords and they do not respond to requests. If you are vocal about your issues they will ignore you and then just force you to leave your rental.
I had a hot water tank break and they left the old tank in my unit (next to the newer one) and I asked the property manager repeatedly to please have it removed. Every time I asked her she would say the handy man kept telling her he took care of it. After seven, yes, seven months, it was finally removed.

I have rented from them for 2 years only because it was cheap and had free parking. The house is crap. Barely insulated, no ac and the window ac they provided us with are old and barely work. There were nails and paint clippings when we moved in and obvious signs of Raccoons in the attic. The basement looks like something out of a horror film. The old fire places cracked and filling is falling out. The gutter has been broken for about 8 months now. And to top it off I have an emotional support dog that they have been nothing less than discriminating against. The cherry on top though really is that

Did you expect the most luxurious and newest as for last reviewer? You shouldn't because that's your choice for living there because I know they are the one of best reponsive maintenance team for older apartments and very clean might as well and even though it may not be luxurious its very best value as an apartment rental company for your buck so for last reviewer if you don't like it there try moving somewhere else that will probably be more expensive than this company.

I rented a small studio from KRG for 3 semesters. I usually don't feel compelled to write reviews, but my experience was great with them. My first two semesters was spent in a garden level apartment and they let me move up two floors free of charge for my final semester. The studio was cheap, but clean and tidy. It was small, by efficiently laid out. The place even came furnished for less than 600/month right by Lane and Neil. My walk to class on North Campus was like 3 minutes.

I have rented with them for over 2 years and it is time to go. They clearly are making as much as they can by maintaining only what they have to. There are always parking lot lights out, the exterior building door do not lock/always propped open, and when the building sewage line backed up they made minimal effort to clean the HUMAN WASTE that had flowed onto the floor.
They have great "starter" apartments for people looking for a simple one or two bedroom but all in all convinced a professional service should be a little more professional.

I really enjoyed living in a KRG property several years ago. Though somewhat dated, the apartment itself was clean and nice when I moved in. When my ceiling started leaking, they took care of the issue promptly and courteously. They were also fantastic to work with when I finally bought a house and needed some flexibility with closing dates and move out dates. Every communication was polite and promptly addressed by professional staff members.

I would strongly advise anyone against renting from KRG. I lived in a KRG house for two years, but only because the rent was reasonable, and the house was actually owned by the religious organization I was apart of. If I had had another viable option for housing my second year living off campus, I would have taken it.
No maintenance request was ever attended to in a timely manor (and sometimes never at all), and in order to get anything addressed, my roommates and I had to have our parents call the office (even though our names were on the lease). We lived without a working dishwasher for 6 months

These guys are great to rent from! During the course of 2 years that I was a tenant, they treated me with extreme respect and kindness. I even hit a rough patch during a few months of my stay and they were kind enough to be flexible with me until I got everything worked out. Nancy Mauger-Davis was the one in charge at the time and she was fantastic.
